Anglesea Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Victoria

Took an awfully long time. Couldn’t order pasta after 8pm 🤷‍♀️ had to choose pizza and we thought we picked well. Ordered the chilli, prawn and chorizo pizza…lacked any chorizo and the prawns were lack lustre as it was 1 maybe 2 prawns cut in to tiny pieces and scattered in the pizza. Also the chilli flakes are just hot chilli flakes from a jar, asked for littler flakes and clearly they forgot and smashed the pizza with dry hot chilli flakes. Luckily we had cold water. Really disappointing.

Magherita was not much better. Burnt and just didn’t look appetising at all.

Overall it was a poor choice of venue for dinner and I an annoyed I wasted $50. I definitely would not recommend this place. If there are good reviews then I would think they are just being polite.

Best pizza I have had in a long time. We stayed in Anglesea for a weekend away and was craving a pizza for dinner. Our entire experience was fantastic - the service and staff were incredibly friendly. We sat out the front and the pizza arrived on a wooden board and looked magnificent, no holding back on the toppings. The base was thin and all ingredients fresh! Even used proper bacon and ham which is hard to come by at pizza places!! Absolutely delish!! Thank you for an excellent dinner, I am back at home in Melbourne now craving one of...

Anglesea pizza.. Very tasty. Generous spread of fillings on a thin crust which was great except I kept dropping it on myself! Had hot salami, cheese, tomato sauce, Spanish onion, bacon, capsicum.. My half had pineapple and sundried tomato and a small drizzle of pesto to finish ... Was messy and oily but oh so good :-D 8.5..just a bit off coz it was so messy and a bit hard to handle in the car nut it's not often we have an empty box in one...
