Is this the best bakery you will go to? No. But that is not a knock on the Anglesea Bakery. The food here is consistent and you know that what you get will be good. As a tradie who finds smoko an important part of the day, I find myself returning time and time again. I have to be honest, this is not the best. I got a sausage roll and a meat pastie. The sausage roll didn’t taste right. There was not much meat and mostly some weird paste and vegetables. The pastie was bad. The pastry was fine but the filling had a very off taste, somewhat a vomit taste. After eating from the bakery, I had a coating on the roof of my mouth for hours which wouldn’t go off....
