I had an absolutely amazing dinner in Anglesea, and every dish I ordered was a hit! We started with the Tom Yum broth, and it was exactly how I love it — a perfect harmony of sour, sweet, and just the right amount of spice. The seafood inside was fresh and flavorful, making it a very comforting start to the meal. The calamari was seasoned so well, crispy on the outside but tender inside, and the accompanying salad mix balanced it nicely with a refreshing touch. The garlic fried rice was another standout — the garlic flavor was subtle and worked perfectly with the other seasonings. The texture was spot on: not too dry, not too wet, just perfectly cooked. Finally, the Pad See Ew was the star of the night for me. The smoky “wok hei” flavor really came through, and the beef was tender and cooked beautifully. The smoky seasoning elevated the whole dish without being overpowering — a true must-try! The staff were warm and helpful, making the experience even better. There is indoor seating available, which makes it a nice spot whether you’re after a casual dinner or a cozy dine-in experience. My top recommendations would be the Tom Yum and the smoky Pad See Ew — both are absolutely worth trying if you’re visiting Anglesea. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next trip!

Ordered tofu pad Thai, hokkien noodles with chicken and chicken satay skewers. Can’t recommend any of it, unfortunately. Pad Thai (see photo) had zero pad thai flavour (instead had a very strange tang that had a bad aftertaste) - no peanut flavour, no lemon. Frozen vegetables (still half frozen and definitely raw) featuring large chunks of zuccini, carrot and broccoli - almost certainly straight from a bag of mixed veggies. Hokkien noodles were only marginally better. Almost zero flavour and the same veggie combination as the pad thai. Chicken was over cooked and also had little flavour. Satay chicken skewers were no better. Chicken breast was dense and overcooked, satay sauce was watery and lacked flavour. First time I haven’t finished chicken skewers. $60 on a Friday night not well spent. On a more positive note, the service was fast and friendly. We had takeaway but the venue itself was nice when picking up the order.

I had the beef pad Thai. The staff offered me a lemon slice to go with it. The noodles had a tomato base. Water is provided in bottles in the fridge. It's a clean place set up to cater for mainly takeaways. There are 3 tables with sufficient seating for 10 people. There is a ramp and entrance that can cater for wheelchairs. Surcharge on credit cards. Friendly polite staff.

Lovely staff. They were very busy when we went in and were informing customers coming in that there was a 30-40min wait (I think good practice as it gives people an opportunity to make another choice). Not particularly authentic Thai tasting food. Agree with one previous review, that the Pad Thai had a tomato taste to it, and the Pad See Ew was very basic and bland (looked anaemic). We had to clear the table ourselves, from previous diners. We waited a long time for it to be cleaned as well. Didn't particularly...
