Ordered from here on a Public Holiday and understand there is a surcharge BUT when you get charged $96.00 for x5 waters, 6x potato cakes, 3x fish, x1 chiko roll and supposedly $5 of chips that is outrageous. I actually thought they had put the surcharge on the prices but no they also added it on at the end. We are regulars at Anglesea with the Surf Lifesaving Club but will never ever set foot in that shop again. I even took the chips back and said are you sure this is $5 worth. He looked at me as if I was stupid.

I have never been to a fish and chips store that chargers $1.20 for lemon slices and $1 for a blob of tomato sauce in a container. $2 for tartare. I ended up going to IGA to buy tomato sauce and a lemon for my friends (paid $3.20, see picture) . Even though covid may have hit small business pretty hard, $1.20 for a dash of citrus is basically stealing from the public. I could’ve put the $6 that my friends paid for spicy Mayo, dill Mayo and tartare towards our next holiday. Food was alright.

Poorly salted, everything was just waaaaay too greasy, even for fish and chips standards.

I will add at the start - the fish was really good. However, that said... I don't know if it's because rent is so expensive in Angelsea or if I am just out of touch, but these were very expensive fish and chips. We got takeaway from here the other day and don’t understand why it’s doesn’t have better reviews. The food was great the service was great the 3 girls in the shop were very friendly I was told it would be a 10 minute wait for my food and they had it ready in 8. The Fish was fresh the calamari was fresh and so was the prawns the chips were really good. We had takeaway at Fish by Moonlight two days prior and I think the have the reviews mixed up Anglesea Fish and Chips is the place to go when in Anglesea. Don’t waste your money at the over priced and poor quality food at Fish...

Had an amazing experience here! Staff are amazing, greeted us with a smile and were super friendly. The customer service employees helped us choose what to order as we were unsure and went through the menu with us which was super helpful! Food was delicious, fresh and great recommendation from the staff to get the lot burger. Will definitely make it a staple stop of mine when I come down to Anglesea again. Amazing food, welcoming staff and left with a smile. Please ensure my thanks is passed on to the staff and their amazing customer...
