Carvery King — Restaurant in Victoria

The first time I went to Carvery King Drouin, I was extremely happy. I ordered the smaller roast meal and it was very abundant!!! Amazing amount of vegetables and a decent amount of delicious tender meat. Fast forward to this evening and I ordered the larger Roast meal and paid for extra meat! I'm sorry, but I watched as the person dishing up the vegetables counted the number of carrot bits, added 1 tiny piece of corn, and two small bits of broccoli. The meat was certainly no more than I have previously received in a smaller roast meal. And I had paid for extra! It was all a bit weird. They even skimped with the gravy. Really made me think!!! I did go half way and give 3 stars because what we got was Good yummy food. It just wasn't worth paying the extra money. So yes, I will return, but I will be sticking to the small roast meal cos the larger meal is definitely not worth it. And will never ask for extra meat as no extra was provided!! Ohhhhh I forgot this bit... the crackling was not crackling... it was a soft chewy lump of fat! That definitely...

I don't normally like to publicly give my feedback however after directly messaging my constructive feedback i did not even get a reply. I was very happy when i moved here earlier in the year to be highly recommended to try this place and I wasn't disappointed. The meat was melt in your mouth and lots of choices for sides. This soon became our regular go to take away place. Unfortunately, over the last few months i have noticed a decline in quality and consistency. The other week i got a roast dinner to take home, the meat was very tough, and everything was stacked on top of each other and swimming in gravy. The Caeser salad had hardly any dressing. Understanding there can be an off day we continued to come and get roast rolls. The meat is no long tender and the beef tastes of lamb half the time as the same knife is used to...
