It's Christmas Eve, 2019 It's 8.30pm the staff have been flat out, it's the 1st time we have been there, as we live 1and 1/2 hours away. The owner, Helen such a beautiful soul, welcomed every customer as they came thru the store. The gentleman behind the counter, her son I assume also very welcoming looking after locals with their Christmas day orders. Anyway let me tell you all, do yourself a favour and have a feed of the best Fish'n'Chips you will ever have. We ate there, as they have seating available. I wish they would move to my town. I happened to mention to my husband that next time we go there I would like to try their lamb sovlaki, and with that Helen bought us a tasting plate of the lamb so we could try it. Absolutely delicious. How often would you get service like that. Please visit this wonderful Fish and Chip Store for the best traditional taste you would ever experience. Thankyou Helen and family. WORST MEAL EVER!! Went there to get a kebab for lunch, but the meat on the spits looked old, like it was from the night before. So I asked for a Hawaiian hamburger, small chips with gravy. The girls asked "would you like chicken or beef"? So I decided to go with a chicken burger. I then saw them put pre cooked chicken pieces on the grill and heat it up. I asked for it to be cooked fresh and they got annoyed. I ended up with a chicken schnitzel from the deep fryer slapped in a bun. They then said to me "next time you want a a chicken schnitzel, you should ask for one." Rude arrogant, and trying to sell pre cooked chicken instead of cooking a fresh hamburger that I asked for. The chips tasted like they where cooked in burnt oil, so i binned them. Definitely the worst lunch I've had. Avoid...

Reasonably good fish and chips, but service is deplorable. I was in there for lunch around 11:30 on a Saturday, and the woman was working at the deep fryers. She greeted me with a friendly "Hi, what can I get you?". I answered "I have an order for you when you're ready". She then completely ignored me for the next 3-4 minutes, and another customer walked in. She served him first. Then continued to ignore me. The guy down the back continued his discussion with a friend, refusing to get up and serve me even after making eye contact several times.
