Disappointing Service

I had a reservation for 7:15 PM, and the service was disappointing. We ordered a salad with our main meals, but after we finished nearly all of our food, we reminded the staff. She brought the salad late and, when we politely said we didn’t need it anymore, she took it away without saying a word, in an arrogant manner.

Additionally, a curry we ordered came after we finished eating, and when we asked for it to be packed for takeaway, the staff member didn’t apologize or acknowledge the delays. She didn’t even say “thank you” when we paid.

The food was fine, but the poor service really ruined the experience. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves...

We visited this restaurant after seeing its high 4.7 rating, but unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. We ordered the Balti Paneer and roti, expecting authentic flavors and quality, but the dish fell short of our expectations. The paneer and the gravy did not taste any of the rich aromatic flavors one would associate with a good Balti dish. The roti was also underwhelming – it seemed dry and lacked the softness we were hoping for, also portion was small considering the price. It wasn't authentic indian food.

The ambiance was decent, but the food didn’t justify the high rating. Hopefully, the management takes this feedback constructively to improve...

We recently visited Desi Vibes Ballarat and had a wonderful dining experience. We tried a variety of dishes, starting with the Afghani Chaap, which was perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection. The Dal Bhukara had a rich, creamy texture that paired excellently with the fresh naan. The Chicken Kadahi was packed with bold flavors and spices, making it a standout dish for the evening. To wrap up the meal, the Masala Chai was just what we needed — aromatic and refreshing. Overall, Desi Vibes delivered on taste, quality, and service.
