My understanding of the publics relationship with Dominos was as follows; an unspoken pact exists - we look beyond the calories and some of the less savory aspects of franchising and in exchange receive a consistent product with convenient service. In a moment of weakness I opted against the potential wildcard option of one of the many family owned pizza restaurants in Newcomb and surrounds and chose the consistent and convenient option of Dominos. I ordered online, 3 pizzas from $33* really appeals to my penchant to bulk buy, however 1 hour and 45 minutes after ordering the tracking graphic showed my neglected pizzas were ready in store and awaiting delivery. I spoke to a young man at the store who told me my order would still be another hour away from being delivered. He offered me a garlic bread or a soft drink for my troubles. Unfortunately my troubles could not be alleviated by a garlicy donut or bottle of sugar water. Neither of which even cover the delivery cost. The consistency I expected was lost to the tyranny of time as my pizzas sat ever soggier on the heating shelf, and any promise of convenience turned to dust the moment I pulled tracksuit pants over my pajamas, putting down my half drunk whiskey and contacting a friend to drive me to the store. The pact had been broken. The price of repair...
Read moreI ordered 2x pizzas delivered and paid extra for pineapple and the dairy free cheese on both. Neither pizzas arrived with the pineapple and one arrived with dairy cheese. I called the store and said there has been a mistake because I am allergic to dairy. The man I spoke to said he will make a new one and send it out. I called back 45 minutes later to follow up as I did not receive it yet. Another man answered and said they actually decided not to send out a new one because the changes to the pizzas "didn't show up properly" when the order was printed in store and he believed it technically wasn't their mistake if there was an technical error in the software in the store. I said well that is obviously not my fault either so I'd rather just get a refund at this point. He said he won't do it. I also paid extra to get the quick 20 minute delivery, and the pizzas were very late. This is vile and...
Read moreThis store has to be the worst dominos store in Victoria. I have lost count of how many times they screw up my pizza. Its such a simple pizza with some extra toppings and 99% of the time they miss certain toppings or are out of stock on some, and they dont tell me and still charge me. I have emailed head office between 10-15 times and have received countless vouchers for the dumb errors the staff make, and still sure enough, the next order i get, its still missing topping which i paid for. Even when i pay for extra topping, they just put the bare minimum, as if im giving them a $3.00 tip. I cant believe such an incompetent store gets repeat business. If their prices were like pizza huts, this store would have the customers making their own pizzas instead...
