We visited the restaurant for dinner yesterday (public holiday). It was quite busy, and service took longer than expected, as there were only two waitresses. I completely understand the situation, and props to the waitstaff for doing their best under the circumstances. We ordered fish cakes (similar to what you'd find at other places), chicken pad Thai (a bit too wet for my taste, but the flavour was fine), and Thai milk tea.

Unfortunately, the Po Taek was the most disappointing dish. The soup was overly sour, and it seemed like they just tossed a small amount of seafood (three mussels, three squid, and two prawns) into a bland broth with no garnish or care in presentation. We had planned to order more, but after seeing the Po Taek, we changed our mind. It was definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn't...

Food is great. But service is poor. 2 outta 3 of our meals were incorrect. And we didn't receive the last meal until 30 minutes later which at that point we just got it in a take away container.

We did ask if a certian meal was available and got confirmation that it was, only for the waiter to appear later and advise that it wasn't actually being sold. When we changed the order we were then advise that the wait time was going to be 10 minutes after already waiting 15 minutes.

Numerous times we had to repeat our order with the server walking away and coming back as they didn't remember.

At the end we asked for the take away container only too be told that it was already plated. Feels like we had to fight to get it in the container.

Every step of the way...

We chose this restaurant as it looked super clean and welcoming from the outside. Their Thai food was excellent! The deep fried barramundi was packed with flavours, the fish was crunchy on the outside but tinder on the inside. Their pineapple fried rice was delicious, the prawns were fairly fresh and meaty. We also ordered their beef boat noodles, which was five out of five! The broth itself was rich and wholesome, the beef chunks were cooked for so long that I could easily break them with my chopsticks. They also provided us with four different sauces to add extra flavours to the noodle soup. Their service was excellent, the restaurant was quite clean and d cozy as well. Definitely...

When you’re in Ballarat, you can try this Thai restaurant! Eatsy Thai is a great spot for a tasty and light meal. While the vegetarian options are limited, the ones available are really good. I tried the *spring rolls, green curry with veggies and tofu (served with white rice), pad noodles with cashews, veg fried rice, raspberry lemonade, and a virgin mojito* —all were delicious, fresh, and packed with veggies. The flavors were well-balanced, and the food felt light yet satisfying. The ambience was pleasant, though the place isn’t very big. Still, it’s cozy and a good choice for a casual meal. If you’re looking for flavorful Thai food with fresh ingredients, this place is definitely worth a visit!
