Bright Motor Inn — Hotel in Hume

Hardest bed ever and sheets had some stains, loud fridge going all night long, hot water didn't last 5 minutes and left us having a cold shower, our room had 2 people but only 1 wash cloth was supplied, rooms not serviced due to Covid but no hand soap is supplied in the bathroom (just facial soap), if you open the blinds for light you immediately lose all privacy, payment terms stated balance was due on arrival and since I had arranged late arrival nobody informed me when I phoned about late arrival that the money would be randomly withdrawn from my account at their convenience, sign in the room said to leave towels outside if you want new ones and we never got any and the towel was still there upon checking out. I wanted to leave feedback at reception but it was closed at checkout time. The heating was decent, great location, $155p/n. We wouldn't stay again, recommend outside of town where...

They don't honor your reservation

There was an error in the policy registered by Bright Motor Inn for your booking number xxxxxx.

We had booked it for January 2021 for 3 days via booking.com We received a call stating you need to book for 4 days minimum or your money will be returned.

It's not fair. We had paid for it. Took annual leave etc anw they canceled it because they wanted 4 days '.

They need to honor the booking.

My kids were devastated. Motel didn't do anything to fix the issue

Avoid!!! The actual policy is 4 days minimum stay, and not 3. The accommodation would like to know if you would agree to add an extra day to your reservation.

Such a pleasant experience, especially for the price!

After a long road trip and running the Spartan, it was great to check in to a friendly and accommodating reception, drive my car to my door and have a clean and tidy, homey room with a view.

Lindsay was such a great host.

It was great to see so many happy people socialising around the area.

They had mini golf, a rotisserie going (I believe they do dinner for guests, or something).

The surrounding mountains were nice.

The dryer was loud AF and not sure it was working properly or someone interrupted the cycle, but other than that, the amenities were great.

I just really appreciated Lindsay's friendly and accommodating demeanour. A simple thing but made a massive difference. I don't usually care to write reviews but I wanted to make sure this service was acknowledged and to support this...
