Furlong Pizza & Kebabs - Ballarat — Restaurant in Victoria

New review 2024: Still a huge fangirl of Furlong. Had a mushroom with BBQ sauce tonight & they never have an issues adjusting my order for sauces i want or extra sauce top they are so nice about it all. The two atmospheres here are busy+professional and warm+nice depending on the night. I've never felt unwelcome here.

Prices have probably gone up a couple of dollars since my old review but still the same high quality and still cheaper than a lot of other places (even places who claim to have great pizza around ballarat arent as good as here imo). These guys dont claim anything about their food it just speaks for itself. Thanks again Furlong team i appreciate you. :)

Old review: I didn't know furlong made pizza.. it's one of those details I overlooked. Their kebabs are nice if you like kebabs.. but me I'm a pizza girl given the choice. I'm sitting in the afterglow of one now and I so strongly recommend these guys. My favourite is the small size they are as round as a dinner plate but thick, I always eat the whole thing and get a food coma but I don't feel filthy like I do with other pizza places it's all fresh and at $7.50 for a vegetarian pizza I'm sold. Plus the wait times are always honest and reasonable when they let you know there will be one which isn't that often. Consider me an official furlong...

I'm editing my past review as the food I have received the last couple of times has not been up to the great review I gave. I will always give credit where credit is due but just can't for this store anymore. I ordered a Tandoori chicken pizza which is meant to come with a Mint Sauce over top of it but when my pizza arrived No Mint Sauce!! I called the store & was told by the woman that it was an optional extra 😏 I informed her that it is actually on the menu on their website as an ingredient not an extra. She kept telling me that if I wanted it I had to request it. 😲 NO !!! I'm sorry when you're menu states that that's what is on a particular pizza then that is what is on it .. it's not classed as a extra !! That's like asking for an Aussie pizza that comes with No Egg then telling me that you have to ask for the egg!! She totally argued & took absolutely no responsibility for my dodgy pizza telling me that they will get the boss to call me back.. I'm Still Waiting for that Call.. they've lost me as a Loyal customer but I'm guessing by their attitude that it Doesn't...

Placed a large order with my family for a get together. The Hawaiian pizza i ordered was the wrong base (looked and tasted like GF which is awful from there) i called to speak about it with them as every other pizza ordered was perfectly fine and the response i recieved was appauling. The man was completely obnoxious, spoke over me and would not take responsibility for this at all. He aggressive tone was that i needed to bring it back into the stpre at 8pm in pouring rain and freezing temperatures with a toddler. I will never order here again. Disgusting service!

In reply to your response, at no point was there any offer to replace whatsoever. There were many people that heard the conversation and how rude you were. After the many excuses of the dough not being stretch correctly etc your only offered solution was for me to come out at 8pm at night in the pouring rain so you could see the pizza and only then would a replacement be disgust.
