Ghosty's Diner — Restaurant in Victoria

Terrible! Don't go!!! Saw them on Channel 7 Sunrise and it looked good. Came to Bendigo for the Elvis exhibition and to go to Ghosty toasty. On entry without saying a word someone in charge with a big tattoo on the back of his neck shouted " sold out". This was at 1 pm on a Saturday. No welcome no smile just kept saying sold out. I asked if they had sold out of coffee and he said only takeaway. Ordered my soy late and they don't offer decaf or skinny milk and told my wife, my 7 yr old daughter and I to wait outside when there were seats inside and others were sitting waiting for their coffee. The shop was dirty and really didn't feel or look like it did on Sunrise. Only to leave with the most disgusting coffee I ever wasted money on. It went straight to the bin. But the barista was polite to us as we left. Maybe he should be in charge if they gave him good coffee...

This place came highly recommended, so we were super excited to come and dine in when we visited Bendigo.

The bartenders very professional and there are lots of drink options.

Unfortunately we were constantly pushed to order and were told it gets busy on Saturday nights. Was this a suggestion for us to hurry up? It certainly didn’t help our experience.

Drinks came out promptly. We ordered the chicken wings as a starter. They were very tasty and we were excited for our burgers to come out next.

When the burgers arrived they were completely underwhelming in presentation. The taste experience matched the presentation. Underwhelming! Honestly I can make better at home! I could hardly taste any sauce on my chicken burger. It was edible but not what I was expecting.

I would happily pay more for a little more lovely & attention put into...

Lovely retro space with amazing food.

We had the maple spicy chicken wings, fries, strawberry milkshake, and Leon's famous iced tea. The chicken wings were hands down one of the best we've ever tasted. Crunchy but extremely juicy inside. It also paired really well with the ranch that came with it. Highly recommend for anyone coming for a visit! The fries were quite nice as well, crispy but not soggy. Strawberry milkshake was lovely and creamy. Leon's famous iced tea was so good I ordered it twice. It's basically regular sweetened iced tea, but it was really delicious and paired well with the meal. I would recommend all of the items we ordered to anyone.

Staff were kind and the space is very cute.
