Free maps available and brochures of a range of places. I didn't see any particularly local ones but asked the staff about what to do on a rainy day with kids and a lady was happy to help. She told us a little about a couple of places I was interested in from Google maps like there being big windows to look out to the park from at the cafe in the art gallery on a rainy day. She told me some things I already knew but also mentioned that the War Memorial is currently closed which was helpful. Customer service was decent.

There were a couple of displays to look at but weren't particularly interesting according to the family so I didn't bother looking too far. A highlight was the external view of the building. I would've liked to see more gold rush history here to show the kids.

The gift shop had a few interesting bits and pieces from candles to cute linen purses to Bendigo peanut brittle...

Staff very friendly and professional, making us feel welcome. We initially only planned to stop by for some tourist information, but her warm hospitality made our visit much more memorable. She patiently introduced us to the major attractions in the area and recommended activities we might enjoy. Thanks to her suggestions, we had the chance to watch an amazing lion dance performance, which became an unexpected highlight of our trip!

With such passionate staff, I believe Bendigo’s tourism industry will continue to grow and leave a lasting impression on visitors.

If you visit Bendigo, be sure to stop by – they might have the latest information on activities...

Visited your store with my mother, who spent over $300 on three items. The young staff members were polite and eager to help, but the manager’s attitude was disappointing. When we asked about gift wrapping, the manager curtly replied, ‘We don’t do that anymore.’ The young employee kindly offered some black tissue paper, only for the manager to insist on charging us for it. Even a bag was an additional $3 charge. After spending so much, we were shocked by this lack of basic courtesy. When we asked to speak to the manager, she dismissed us with, ‘Not right now,’ while just sitting at her computer. Highly disappointed with...

Bloom festival is prominently displayed outside & walk along short strip of Pall Mall area to Conservatory to view Tulips in full Bloom. Pic today 23/9/25. Have visited the Centre whenever I have dropped into Bendigo - last was April this year for Easter Dragon Parade. Staff are helpful & you can also purchase locally made & Bendigo touristy stuff (small retail). At times there are art exhibits here too. 15 to 20 mins walk from train station. Rosalind Park is at the rear & short walk from Alexandra Fountain intersection.

This is one of the must visit places if you are visiting Bendigo, great collection and information about the rich heritage of this area. Just walking distance from the Station. Also have Aboriginal museum/ art gallery inside the building, worth visiting if you are an art lover. Staff is very helpful and will assist you with all your questions patiently 👍
