Being members at the gym and pool at RACV it is a treat to go upstairs afterwards with the kids for some food. Every. Single. Time - we come away saying ‘that was a joke!’ This time, waiting over half an hour for two serves of ribbon sandwiches and a serve of scones. Most of the order arrived after it was chased up. Only one serve of sandwiches came. How hard is it? How hard is it to apologise for being so utterly hopeless at serving customers in a timely fashion, or correctly delivering an order. At this price you would expect at least the service to be good. The coffee was mediocre. The food was nice when we got it, but we have come away with a very bad taste in our mouths. The “bottomless coffee” offer seems good but the first coffee took 20 plus minutes to arrive. And only after we went to the counter and asked they admitted they lost our order. The amount of sour cream for the wedges is not really enough. Generally the staff were not great. Sure it’s Boxing Day. And staff would prefer to be at the beach. So take a job as a life guard if you don’t want to be “hospitable” in...
