Bubba Pizza Torquay — Restaurant in Torquay

Do yourself a favour and don’t even bother. The only thing this place has going for it is the lovely girl on the front counter. Great customer service. From then on I watched her apologise to all of 3 people on a Wednesday night (it was dead quiet) because the food was taking so long. We were told 15mins and it was well over half an hour. The pizza was average at best (we ordered a supreme, a margarita and a garlic cheese pizza with some onion rings) and I’m now lying in bed feeling crook and heart burn. I only had 3 slices. The girl on the counter is wasted at the place and with her customer service skills she could do so much better and not have to apologise constantly on a clearly dead night. Edit - I was just physically ill and everything I’d eaten (all 3 slices) came up. It’s 2:45am and I feel so sick and miserable. I’m up here for some respite and this is so far removed from what I had in mind. The heartburn that is accompanying it is awful. Horrible start and so disappointed. Binning the rest! And if they decide to ask me to email them further, as I’ve seen in a handful of other reviews, they can not bother wasting both our times. I’ve never felt like this at any other pizza place. Would not recommend Bubba's, this was my second time had a bad experience the first time but thought I'd give them another try. Our meal came on time but was luke warm. Texas loaded fries was a couple of layers of chips on the bottom of the box and the pasta had been reheated through the pizza oven. Rang to give them the opportunity to fix the issue, I was offered a credit for the fries, but was told that this is the normal serve. Apparently the main office told them to halve the serve. Reheating pasta is their normal way of cooking it, they do not make it fresh. Definitely will...

No pizza delivered. Was explained 50min wait all good for that. Ring up after 1hour 10mins. Explained pizza been with driver for 20min. Driver called could not find house. Rang back to restaurant told driver been no answer. Explained how could driver been if could not find house. ASKED TO SPEAK TO MANAGER APARENTLY MANAGET REFUSED AS TO BUSY.
