Hooley Dooley Ice Cream — Restaurant in Victoria

Really tasty Ice Cream with a great selection, unfortunately was made to feel discriminated by one of the staff member. I wear glasses so it was abit of a hit and miss seeing the small QR sticker on the door, thought there might have been one inside, but was told to scan in, which i had no problem with 'I had my phone out ready to go anyway'. But the tone was abit aggressive. Since it was our first time i tried to do the right thing and find the start of the line as there was a group ordering, and I wanted to keep some distance, followed the stickers on the ground, trying to look at the selection with the kids, only to get told I was at the wrong end, had to go pay first, it was kinda hard to pay for something when we haven't had a chance to look at the variety. Same guy same abrupt tone as if we were an inconvenience. Asked if we were dining in, as the kids seem to be taking a seat I said yes, when ask to see my certificates of vaccination, I still didn't have a problem its when he took his time verifying my certificate, which he had just seen me go back to my Services Australia app. As soon as we sat down the employee left, Can i recommend you put a QR code on the inside of the venue, in case people miss the small QR on the door that has other posters with it, and can you allow customers to make a selection and get their ice creams while they move down the line towards the cashier it would make things alot clearer. I was surprised by the range of products they have. Pancakes, waffle cones, bags of lollies, drinks, ice creams and so much more! I was also surprised by the range of ice cream they had. I am not lying when I say I had 5 types of caramel ice creams! I ordered the testing board it has 6 types of ice cream! What did I have for the 6th flavour then? Vegemite! Yes really!! It was awesome. We spent time chatting with the staff member there. They were full of knowledge and experience, they had a strong knowledge about the business and was happy to share all their experiences with us when we asked about this or that. The location is very easy to get access to and if I had mobility requirements this is a place that would have given me no issue accessing or moving around in. The store was kept very clean by the staff member who took pride in their work. Too bad they have actually quit and were just filling in for the night. I hope all the other staff can live up to this one staff member's example. I hope the owner is paying attention to loyal staff and is giving them discounts and the like. Anyway a little off track. We had our daughter's party here and it was so brilliant! great for small groups, such amazing value for money.

The girls had milkshakes, mini pancakes and ice cream all with flavours of their choice. They also received an amazing party bag for each attendee with lollies and stationery. We also had a taste testing game where the girls were blind folded and had to guess the flavour of ice cream.
