Howitt St Bakehouse — Restaurant in Victoria

I purchased cakes & slice and was happy with the service from the gentleman who served me. I have been a very good home cook and so am often disappointed by baked goods available in bakeries these days. Often the products are lacking in flavour, but I decided I'd give this little shop a try and although it wasn't as flavourful as home baked goods, the cake & slice was pretty good. They also weren't ridiculously overpriced as is often the case these days for the product on offer. The staff here are lovely. They are always welcoming and friendly. I've tried their party pies, but yesterday I had a chicken snitzel and salad roll. It was the BEST chicken snitzel and salad roll that I have had in a long long time - I am tempted to say that it was the nicest one I've had ever!!
