Koffeee Moments — Restaurant in Victoria

First Saturday off in ages, so I decided to treat myself to a coffee and a bacon & egg roll. I spotted this café and thought I’d give them a go. $10 for a B&E roll... I figured it was a bit steep, but I decided to indulge. Added another $5+ for a coffee, thinking it would be a nice little splurge.

Boy, was I wrong.

The coffee was just okay—not the best, and I had to add my own sugar despite asking for it when I ordered. Then came the B&E roll: one of the smallest buns I've ever seen, with rubbery, undercooked bacon and an overcooked egg, topped with a meagre splatter of BBQ sauce.

No cutlery, no serviettes—had to fetch those myself from the counter. To top it off, as I was leaving, I noticed a sign asking customers to leave their dirty dishes and cutlery on a table. Really? What's next, wiping down the tables too?

Safe to say, I won’t be returning, and I definitely do not...

The food is yum but it was so frustrating getting served. When I was saying what I wanted for my family every time I said something she would put it in the tablet and then walk away whilst i was still talking to go get that 1 thing and then come back..... id tell her the next item and she would repeat that process..... it took ages and then I finally paid and had to take the plates myself...... we had to wait for the 3rd item and all it required was a handful of chips..... it took forever.... I ended up going back and just waiting at the counter for the rest of my families eat in meal.... then they forgot the desert we ordered so I had to go back up again...

Don't recommend for dine-in. Ordered "smashed avo and feta on sourdough" with poached egg for $11.90. What came was a slice of white sandwich bread, barely toasted with mushy avo, very little feta and an undercooked egg (the white wasn't cooked) still sitting in its water. Coffees were really ordinary and the kids' babycinos were $4 for about 100ml. Can't really comment on service, they didn't talk much or smile. I wanted to complain but I just didn't see the point - how could they have fixed anything?? Can't comment on the food in the cabinet however, that...
