This place was very busy so it must be popular. I was looking for somewhere to have a coffe on a rainy day, the coffee was good and the environment was pleasant but the service needs to be improved, the staff probably need to develop a bit more situational awareness. Perhaps it was because I was by myself that they weren't too interested in me . You have to wait to be seated and several times I was bypassed in favour of other people who had just come in. When I finally had someone take interest in me and take me to a table, it seemed to be with a little bit of exasperation. The place was very busy and the staff were extremely busy. The server was eventually pleasant and took my order, which did seem to take quite a while to arrive, but again it was a very busy morning. I took my time to over my coffee and as I had been there a while I thought might have another and then some lunch. I sat there for quite a while expecting someone might come over and clear the table or see if I wanted another coffee, it got to the stage where I decided to time how long it woul be before some came to serve me. After 25 minutes I decided that no one was going to come over to me so I got up to go, went to the register to pay and again it took quite a while for someone to come and deal with me. Just as I was thinking to myself that perhaps I should just wander off and leave without paying because no one seemed too interested to come and take my money, someone came to deal with me. It was a very interesting situation as I could see, while I was sitting at the table and waiting at the register, staff would look at me or in my direction but then continue on with what they were doing. Possibly they expected someone else to deal with me. I'm not sure what was happening here this morning, as I said the staff were very busy, they were friendly and they would doing their job as far as I could see with all the...
Read moreI recently returned to the newly renovated BeanStation Cafe and had the pleasure of enjoying a delightful breakfast. Situated at the historic Wodonga Railway Station in Junction Square, this cafe seamlessly blends old-world charm with modern elegance, making it the perfect spot to start your day.
The ambiance of the cafe is inviting, with a warm and friendly staff that makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The menu is meticulously crafted, offering a clean and refreshing array of options that cater to a variety of tastes. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast or a light lunch, the BeanStation Cafe, with its gluten-free options, has you covered with their all-day breakfast and lunch offerings.
One of the standout features of the menu is its attention to detail and quality. The ingredients are fresh, and the servings are generous. The dishes are thoughtfully prepared to ensure a delightful dining experience. From classic breakfast staples like eggs Benedict and fluffy pancakes to more adventurous options like avocado toast with a twist, there's something for everyone.
In addition to the fantastic food, the cafe also offers a great selection of beverages. I particularly enjoyed the tropical smoothie, which was a refreshing and delicious treat. It’s the perfect way to complement your meal and add a burst of flavor to your day.
Overall, BeanStation Cafe is a must-visit spot in Wodonga. Whether you're a local resident or just passing through, you'll find it to be a welcoming and enjoyable place to dine. The combination of friendly service, a clean and inviting atmosphere, and a menu that caters to all tastes makes it a true gem in...
Read moreWe had breakfast there last Sunday, group of 15 or so turning up at different times, but ordering separately. We were told that we could not change from what was on the menu on a weekend so we chose off the menu with no changes, we also ordered standard coffees. While the food was lovely the service was atrocious to say the least, our food took a fair while with later arriving tables receiving their food before some of us, and we had to chase our coffees. For our first coffee, at half an hour after ordering we had to ask where it was, it then took another 10 or so minutes. After we'd eaten our breakfast we thought another coffee would be nice so ordered another standard coffee, and juice from the special board, after 20 or so minutes we asked if they were coming, another 15 or so minutes later asked again, in the end we went up to the kitchen and asked for them takeaway. Each time, after waiting what we thought were fair times, we received disapproving looks and at one stage a waitress had a go at us and defended the kitchen for their delay but with no apologies, and another disapproving look. All in all nice food but don't go there if you can't spare a few of hours for a breakfast and drinks off the menu, and you don't like receiving foul looks from the staff when you're chasing your paid for food and drinks.
I had to give one start to get Post to become active, I was going to leave it...
