5 Stars - Highly Recommended Stay at Quest Wodonga

We had a fantastic stay at Quest Wodonga and would absolutely stay here again when passing through. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed—the staff at check-in were warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive, which set the tone for a great experience.

Our room was spotlessly clean, quiet, and perfectly air-conditioned. The king bed was super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day on the road. It’s clear the team takes great pride in the upkeep and comfort of their rooms.

We also really appreciated the secure undercover car parking for just $10 per night—well worth it, especially with the convenience of direct, covered access to the Huon Hill Tavern. The meals there were delicious and generously sized, perfect for a relaxed dinner without needing to venture far.

Another big plus was the location. It’s just a short walk to a nearby shopping centre that includes Coles, Kmart, a great little sushi spot, and a bakery—super convenient for grabbing supplies or a quick bite.

Check-out was seamless too. There’s even a key drop box in the carpark, which is ideal if you’re heading off early before reception opens.

All in all, Quest Wodonga ticks all the boxes—comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. Highly...

Real score, 3.4.

They are fairly spacious and clean modern apartments in this complex. We booked one of the two bedroom units with friends. Most of the fundamentals are good here including the eating and lounge area, bedroom and bathrooms. The mattress, pillow and shower were broadly good too.

There were numerous quirks though that can’t be left unmentioned. There was basically no view from the apartment. What view there was was completely obscured by a large metal screen. It must have been a condition of planning approval for the building. It was the strangest thing being in the middle of a country town several floors up with absolutely no view. Bizarre.

Various smaller details weren’t well managed either. There was no salt and pepper, for example, a basic in any apartment accommodation. There are only small car parking spaces which makes it tight to park and remove belongings from vehicles. Entry to the car park is somewhat circuitous. Aircon arrangements in the rooms are also poor. There were no extra pillows either, usually standard in any accommodation. The clothes dryer wasn’t working either among other matters.

It’s an ok place but with numerous quirks as described. Sometimes you get to thinking that an old style country motel is not such a bad...

Oh my God!!!! Our stay at Quest Wodonga was absolutely incredible! We stopped here for an overnight stay while traveling from Sydney to Melbourne to break up the trip, and I can’t even begin to explain how perfect it was from start to finish.

From the moment we rolled up to check-in, the service was beyond exceptional. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel at home. They were so knowledgeable and helpful, and their hospitality was next level.

The facilities were fantastic, with everything we needed right at our fingertips. The location is super convenient, close to so many local spots, making it easy to grab a meal or stretch our legs. But let me tell you .... the beds we slept on!! Hands down, the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a decade! The room was spotless, comfortable, and so well set up for a relaxing stay.

A special touch that made us smile was the welcome cookies :)Such a thoughtful and generous gesture that made our stay even more memorable.

Honestly, I cannot fault a single thing about our experience. Whether you’re passing through and need a break in Wodonga or planning a longer stay, do yourself a favor and book Quest Wodonga. The service, the comfort, the atmosphere ... ohhhhhhh everything was perfect. Highly,...

A clean and well managed establishment that's just a 10min walk from central Wodonga and its shops and cafès. The area is quiet at night and not near busy roads, so getting a room with a balcony that looks on to the surrounding countryside wouldn't be ruined by the sound of heavy traffic. The room I stayed in had two good sized bedrooms, one with an ensuite. The combined dining and TV area wasn't cramped and was replete with the usual furniture, which did its job but won't win any design awards. The kitchen area was part of the main thoroughfare in and out of the room, and had all the facilities needed to knock up a good meal. My room was clean but just on the cusp of needing a little attention. The staff were friendly and always happy to help. Probably one of the best places to stay in Wodonga.

Holes the curtains….very unacceptable for the price paid. Parking was an extra $10, again unacceptable given the price paid. Unless you wanted to park in the pub car park (unsafe, unsecure) Noisy…sounded like someone moving bins all night, and the room was tiny…seemed to be a larger room cut in half. Could almost touch both walls with arms spread out. No housekeeping (not advised at time of booking) and no way to check out before reception opened at 9:30. Sign said “reception opens at 9:30” but what do we do before then? For $188 a night, I definitely expected more than basic motel vibes. Would not recommend - you can pay much less for such standard facilities…but I can’t get past the shabby decor /curtsins. Though, on a positive, I was awake early with the light streaming in
