Pa's Place — Restaurant in Victoria

EDIT: I decided to give this place a 3rd try after a few months, well I’m done and won’t be returning. I left a comment in order to use more sauce (as they recommend in their responses to other online reviews), and I called up and requesting the same (as they ignored my notes the last time I ordered). Pizza came with hardly any sauce. Salty and dry, just like the previous two times. I would not recommend pizza from here. For $40 for a minimum spend to get delivery and this level of quality, unbelievable. You get better quality for cheaper all over Melbourne but I guess when there’s no competition this will happen.

Original Review: This is my honest review after ordering twice from here: I ordered wedges and pizzas previously. With that order, the wedges were great and super fresh and delivery was super quick, however the sour cream tub was inside the wedges pack (so it curdled/was warm) and the pizzas were dry with almost no sauce. I decided to try Pas Place again this evening. After seeing other reviews where the restaurant suggested to leave order notes, I added notes to the order to please not include the sour cream in the wedges pack, so it remains cold, and to add extra sauce on the pizza base. Unfortunately these notes weren’t followed, and the sour cream curdled again, the pizza had no sauce and the wedges were soggy. Also I don’t remember selecting no contact delivery. The delivery driver knocked on my door, I got up right away to get my food and it was left on the porch. As I’d come to the front door he was already in his car to leave. My garlic bread was also missing which the restaurant was great about, they said they’ll arrange a refund. I also passed on the feedback around the order notes and the restaurant seemed receptive to it. I’ll definitely try this place again but I’m not in any rush to, and I hope in the meantime the restaurant takes on board the feedback around seeing and actioning order...

This was my first experience with Pa's pizza. The customer service over the phone was good, they were patient as I wasn't sure what they had to offer. The pizza arrived quicker than expected which was great and it was hot and fresh, fully loaded with toppings. A lot of places don't offer feta cheese on their pizza and I was very happy to hear they do. I was very impressed with the price aswell, as a lot of businesses are quite expensive with delivery included, for my large pizza delivered it was on $30. I can see this place becoming my regular take away night place. 8.5/10

I order from here, quite often maybe once a fortnight and get the same thing every time and the food on average is quite good.

I have a medical condition and long story short I can’t eat potatoes, I ask if they could swap my roast potatoes out for another piece of pumpkin and was denied.

Which isn’t really a major issue but it’s also a reasonable request and quite easy to do. So now I’m rethinking if I should be spending as much money as I do here. I mean maybe they have a shortage of pumpkin at the moment but i don’t know.

Edit* to add to this I find that when they are super busy the chicken tends to get over cooked a bit, I also have less carrots and less sauce...
