Pellegrino Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Victoria

Guy in trailer was nice and polite just wish the pizza was as nice. Base was soggy picked it up to eat just curled straight over and a heap of the topping fell off. And it had very little flavour all you could taste was the very rich tomato base with no herbs at all. and all that cheese. Fingers crossed it was because didn’t go down to get one until about 7.50 and maybe had a busy night due to none being able to go out for dinner so everyone thought oh we will grab pellegrino’s Woodfire pizza for dinner. Will try again next week earlier in the evening and see if that makes a difference snd tonight was just a bad night. Because since moving to town nearly 4 years ago. I visited this pizza place with a friend and her family. There's plenty of free parking around the restaurant. The place has a very welcoming ambience. The people at the counter were very understanding of how I could get confused between Ginger Beer and Ginger Ale. There was absolutely no condescending tone when they explained to me that their Ginger Beer had alcohol in it (unlike what I perceived 🙃 as Ginger Beer). The pizzas were authentic, wood-fired pizzas, that were made on a thin pizza base with fresh produce. The children in our group had not only fries but also the pizzas (they went in for seconds and thirds). It really makes adults happy when children eat without being picky. I would suggest that people stop by this wonderful pizza place if they are passing...

Really disappointing. Ordered a Capricciosa and a Margherita — both cold, with cheap-tasting ingredients and sloppy presentation. The dough was chewy, undercooked, and definitely didn’t have that proper woodfire crust. Honestly, there was zero woodfire flavour, which is kind of the whole point.

Both pizzas tasted like $5 frozen ones from Aldi, not something you'd expect when paying $50 for two. Felt ripped off, to be honest.

Not sure if we caught them on a bad night or if the people leaving glowing reviews just don’t know what real pizza tastes like — either way, we won’t be going back...
