Deeply underwhelming. I highly doubt the truth of many reviews here. Where to start... Despite having a dine in option if you order sushi they serve it to you on paper in a sort of cardboard box. The sushi then sticks to the paper. We tried to order sushi with raw salmon and also pork floss. Those ingredients weren't available, wiping out a good portion of the menu. While we were sitting there we also heard them mention they were out of seaweed salad, removing more options. Randomly, other things on the menu also weren't available as it was dinner time and they were lunch time only, but not marked out as such. Why they don't just have two different menus is beyond me. If you have allergies, take care. My partner requested that carrot be removed from a sushi roll due to allergies. We did not go over the ingredient list of all sushi rolls and they were happy to then serve us two more rolls that also contained carrot. One roll was drowned in so much sauce we didn't see the carrot until most of it had been eaten. Had to send the second roll back to be remade. Absolute lack of care and thought.

Pov: you own a sushi restaurant and run out of salmon, but you don't shut for the day. This place is hands down the worst sushi place I've been to. I strongly suspect some of the positive reviews are fakes. If you eat in you get served on single use trays, not plates, on these trays they put paper that sticks to your sushi so hard you have to tear the pieces off to pick them up, naturally meaning you'll mash it into falling apart. To top this off you can't trust that declaring your allergies will get you catered to, I am now sitting here with a significant allergic reaction in spite of clearly declaring i can't have something you don't even find in most sushi... Carrot. They removed it from one of the items we ordered but not the others. When pointing this out they offered to give us something else of equal value, or REMOVE THE CARROT rather than remake it. This place is a health hazard. There isn't a single "authentic" thing about this place and you should definitely avoid it!

Came across this little Sushi & Ramen restaurant when we were strolling around. We ordered the Curry Rice set, Salmon Mentai rice, and some sushi for the kids. All very tasty and reasonable price too. The portion for the Salmon Mentai rice is relatively small so you may want to consider adding the mealset which will give you 3 x Gyoza, Miso and can of coke. Staff was very polite, helpful & friendly too. Definitely worth the money. Will try the Ramen next time seeing the good review about their ramen too 🙂

if you are thinking about going to pika sushi READ THIS FIRST!!!!!!!

being a recent employee i’m quite disgusted with this place, i do NOT recommend anyone to go there, there has been times where the chicken karaage and the katsu were dropped on the floor (where everyone walks) and then just given to the customers, not long ago i had a staple in my teriyaki don, how does this occur? couldn’t tell you, since there has been new owners, the chicken has no taste, it’s worse than kfc, you get hard bits in it and there’s hardly any product in the dishes and also getting paid 13$ an hour while i’m 17? how does that make sense, yet they charge almost $30 for every item on their menu? where’s all the money going? not to the employees that’s for sure! you will find that the staff talk rudely about you too, i’ve seen this happen many times .pika sushi by far is the worst place i’ve worked, which is saying a lot!! make sure you check ur sause for hair too, that was disgusting to receive.

the owner will of course deny deny deny however i have witnesses to prove these allegations, im also not angry what so ever im...
