I went this restaurant 14 years ago. This place is a new location, not the one i came 14 years ago. They moved to this new location. The taste of green curry has not changed at all, it still tastes the same as I remember it. the food is delicious. The shrimp from the pad thai is very generous, I was surprised. I was hesitant to return to this location after reading reviews from google, but I still tried to get rid of my curiosity for 13.5 years. Someone wrote that the service was rude, but I felt they were friendly. The main obstacle is that they are not very good at English because they are Thai, so it sounds rude when they speak. Althought it’s not a reason because they open a restaurant in Australia, but i was in f&b industry before so i understand the languanges barrier issues. The service is also very fast, 10 minutes from when I ordered all their food came out. This might be because when I came the only one eating was my table. The price of the food is indeed not cheap, but opening a Thai restaurant in such a far location certainly will not be cheap from the price of raw materials and labor. the decoration of the place is standard, I came here to eat not to take photo of the place. The portion of the pad thai is very large. For me in terms of taste and portion and location, it is comparable to the price. very worth it.

What I ordered: pad thai ( shrimp ) green curry ( chicken ) pad nam man hoy

Total ordered A$101.5 Love it

Will come back again one day Thank you...

RUDE!!!!!! RUDE!!!!!!!

You're not deserved to get any stars from the customers!

We went there during Easter, when I know it was peak hours for all restaurants. However, the guy at the reception was extremely rude when asking us as "Are you urgent?". It made me extremely shocked as I was waiting to be seated at a restaurant, not queuing for a toilet :). He then kept asking me "YES" or "NO" in terms of my urgency. I believe he is lack of customer service skills, which needs to be prolongedly trained if the restaurant wants to operate continuously.

I went there with my 3-year-old child at 7:30pm. He did even not bother to tell us how long we have to wait. I just simply said we went here with our little one so I could say we need a table asap. He responded as he could not provide the estimated time for us with a menace manner. This means that he was not willing to take more customers.

We left immediately and found a nearby restaurant promptly.

This experience was bad since I've ever treated like this before. Hence, if you would like to have good mood and experience in Phillips Island, please stay away from...

RUDE!!! Customer service is absolutely shocking!

Sat down waiting for my wife to arrive. My 8 year old son was thirsty so I asked waiter for a glass of water, his response was 'You can get water after you order'. I told him it was for my son and he didn't care, 'First order then you can have water!" I should have walked out at that point.

They then refused to make us Pad see ew noodles without egg. They literally could not make this dish without cracking an egg into it! The waiter simply said 'No alterations".

Our food was horrible, my wife and I both had the Cashew nut stir-fry with chicken. All you could taste was fish sauce, it was like the chef accidentally spilled the whole bottle into the dish. We told the waiter that it was not quite right and that the fish sauce was over powering, his response was "That's how it is, it has fish sauce in it". We left our food as we could not eat it, they did not care at all.

I do NOT recommend this restaurant!

They are rude, customer service is non existent, they are not flexible and will not cater to anyone's needs and the stir-fry dishes are drowned...

Never again. No thank you! We used to love coming here. In 2023 when on a 10 day holiday on Philip island we had a take away from them 3 times and one dine in. So this year, we wanted to go back specifically for the desert that we loved last time- banana dumpling. Instead, what we got looked like a tiny pile of fish guts- horribly presented, tiniest portion of a dumpling with a scoop of icecream. We paid $15 for a spoonful of a dumpling. ( see the photos) Very disappointing. Overall very pricy menu, most prices 30$ and up for a basic main, such as curry, noodles, etc. this restaurant raised the prices the most of all the places that we frequent on the island. The taste is average. The service is not rude. I gave 3 stars for the atmosphere because it’s cozy inside and we used to love coming here. It’s so close to the beach as well. Unfortunately we won’t be coming back.

Being a die hard Thai food fan, this is one of the worst Thai food I had ever tasted. First of all, they do not accept cards which is odd as not all the travelers will have local AU currency. Then the service is not great as well. I wished amidst this I thought the food would be decent. But it was a disaster. The spicy fried rice (both chicken and veg) was floating in oil. Even the look of it was unappetizing. The laksa was not up to the standards either. It was a disaster of an experience overall. The much more disappointing fact was it's crazy expensive for the sub standard food they serve. I gave 2 stars for the location of the restaurant. I am flabbergasted by the 3.9 starts it has received. IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TASTE BUDS, JUST WALK PAST THE RESTAURANT.
