So yeah, I've walked past this place literally hundreds of times. Didn't even know it was a coffee joint. Always thought it was like a Turkish deli or something. So I always walked past, never spared it a second look. Admittedly the hand drawn sign didn't help.
Anyways, this time I walked past with a mate and had to stop for whatever reason. Mates looking around and is like hey check out this and that and I stopped and looked in the window and it was like looking in my dream bedroom from my childhood. So we went inside.
Guy running the joint was dressed like an 80's rapper, music was playing from old school turntables, old school movie was playing, they have a nes and a snes, tons of old toys. I almost felt child me screaming in delight as I looked around.
Dude made a fantastic cup of coffee (sadly this isn't something i encounter too many places) and I got to just sit there drinking coffee and looking around at the place. It just got better and better the longer I looked.
TLDR: This place is like Marty Mcflys bedroom but with good coffee served to me by Japanese Run DMC or something....
