Smokin' Joe's Pizza & Grill - Armstrong Creek — Restaurant in Victoria

We ordered a parmy on-top of pizza's the parmy in my opinion was burnt, so I called the store and said something. The supposed manager said I complained a lot about this dish, yet I originally complained the cheese sticking to the baking paper as it ripped all the topping off. So I started ordering them without the paper over the top, now the store is doing that for all orders. They in my opinion over cook things they always do as they cook the chicken fully forgetting it will finish cooking why toppings are been cooked, so will end up burning your parmy. I will admit the last 2 I have ordered previously have been great but they are not very consistent at all and the manager was rude when I spoke to him about the issue tonight. Yet I only mentioned the parmy the pizzas we ordered were ok the family had a soggy base but you kinda expect that with delivery, the large basically the same but had a touch of crispy in odd part. Yet I think I'm about ready to give up here, as if you're not consistent with quality why bother opening as that is what it's about and smoking Joe's can't deliver. So if you love a dish one week next...

Been here twice already ❣️❣️.....ordered the Joe's Grill Pack (Lamb ribs), absolutely succulent chicken skewers and wings, delicious, saucy Lamb ribs (there was half a rack), Macedonian Pizza well cooked with lots of toppings 🍕 Chicken Caesar Salad was well dressed with lots of protein 🐤 Chicken nuggets & chips were tasty with fat boy chips, seasoned to perfection and would be enough to feed 2 😁👍 Take 2 - Ordered the Mix n match combo, Matriciana Gnocchi was full of flavour and just the right amount of chilli heat 🌶️ Meat lovers pizza had a well cooked base with generous toppings and a good amount of sauce 🍕🍕 Chicken skewers with Satay sauce were again succulent and tasty and the Traditional lasagne was so cheesy. Awesome job guys!! Having been to a couple of these franchises in and around Geelong I can safely say the food from them is average. The pizzas I've had have been mediocre, and lacked the refinement that comes with getting pizza from somewhere that specialises in this type of food. The bases of the pizzas I had were quite bland and felt shop bought, and very similar to other franchises like Bubba's Pizza. No deep pan, stuffed crust or thin & crispy options 😱😐. The toppings on my pizzas were also bland. No punch from the pepperoni, no hint that I was eating cheese, and the chicken on my Chicken Supreme pizza was texture only. If you're serious about pizza 🍕 then get them from an establishment that takes pizza seriously. On a more positive note, the fat chips from Smokin Joes are worth buying. They are fat, you get plenty of them and has a seasoning that has to be tasted. It brings the chips alive. Now if only they could do the same with...
