Smokin joe’s Pizza & Grill (Seymour) — Restaurant in Victoria

I don't usually place reviews for places unless its either exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. this is the latter.

Ordered this disgusting excuse for a lasagna delivered last night.

I have to say, there's a million things wrong with this:

no bechamel -- the best bit of a decent las. it was somehow both drowning in oil and disturbingly dry. the oil did eventually absorb back in to it which then just made it a disgusting solid mass of pasta cake. per the photo, it was served in a recycled prep container (or it was 6 days old) either way and no one bothered to scrub the label off -- DISGUSTING. SHAME. SHAME. SHAME. SHAME. SHAME.

The labels take 2 seconds to clean off when wet so if the KHs can't be bothered scrubbing them off you can be damn sure they're just throwing the containers through the dishwasher and not actually scrubbing out the insides correctly. Even more disgusting the cooks aren't flagging this as an issue before sending it out. Note that I use "cook" not "chef" because no chef worth his weight in salt would let this monstrosity go out.

"Where's the BBQ sauce?!" Ordered a "BBQ Chicken Pizza, new Yorker" via phone call. Big mistake. Knew i should have menulog'd it like usual as they of course, didn't put a drop of BBQ sauce on, making the pizza just a Hawaiian but with chicken. VERY disappointed for the first time considering the new yorker pizza is nearly $40.

So disappointed, got nachos asked for no jalapeños, opened my box of food and it had jalapeños on it. Also noticed no topping on it what’s so ever.
