Cafe 96 — Restaurant in Victoria

A wonderful and home-style atmosphere at Cafe 96, perfectly placed in Seymour where you can stop for a break on your way to central and northern Victoria. We ordered a range of dishes, all which came out quickly and were exactly what we were looking for. A taco bowl was healthy, tasty and very filling. A schnitzel sandwich hit the spot perfectly and a stand out was the roast beef with gravy sandwich. Yum! Also as a side note, we left a backpack at the restaurant, only realizing hours later and on the road that we had forgotten it. After a bit of shopping, I was heading back to my car when the amazing aroma of coffee pulled me into this café—and I’m so glad it did! The place is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of seating, including a cozy couch perfect for relaxing with a book. It’s clean, welcoming, and has a restroom available, too. The service was outstanding—friendly, professional, and warm. I had a cappuccino in a mug, and it was delicious! Have been coming to Cafe 96 every week since relocating from Naarm, this is the only place around here where you can walk in and stock up on: Bulk organic food Fresh sourdough pastry (Thu) Vegan sweets Local honey, walnuts, EOO, vinegar Bulk castile soap, shampoo, washing detergent.. AND the best peanut butter that is literally crack.. plus so much more. All accompanied by smiling faces. 96 is hands down the most welcoming and friendly place within 100km 💛
