UPDATE 18 Sep 2022. The last 3 times we have visited here for pizza it has been below par and yesterday's was downright very ordinary. Rather than raise prices in line with current increases it appears they have chosen to cut quality and quantity. The lovely mozzarella cheese has now been replaced with a cheap alternative and very little of it. The base has gone from a to die for crispy crust beautifully cooked to a cheap dough that appears to be made from very low grade flour.And the extras we paif ro were basically non existent....a couple of pices of onion and no mushroom that we could find. The 3rd strike was enough for us.

Had one of their traditional pizzas the other day for lunch and I have to say simply one of the best pizza's I have had in years. They use REAL mozzarella cheese not that pizza cheese rubbish most pizza joints use. The bread was delicious and the pizza cooked to perfection. Just the right amount of topping means these pizzas are cooked all over and not simply a big cheese pie with toppings uncooked under the cheese. I will definitely go back to this place. Found Hair Multiple Times – Very Disappointed We ordered three boxes of pizza and a carbonara pasta. My partner picked them up from the store. When he arrived and I started opening the boxes one by one, I noticed a curly black hair between them (on top of the 2nd box). I let that go since it was outside the food, and I was sure it wasn’t from my partner (his hair is short, straight and blonde).

But then I started eating the pasta and found another hair – same curly black hair (about 2cm), this time mixed in with the food. I was already annoyed, but I tried to stay calm and hoped that would be the last of it.

Unfortunately, while eating the pizza, I found yet another hair under a slice. This is a serious issue and shows a lack of hygiene in food preparation. When you’re making food for other people, cleanliness must be a top priority. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves its...

PLEASE READ DO NOT ORDER We tried this place for the first time last week. Our online order had been completely forgotten.. annoying, but we understand mistakes happen. When we finally got home, one of the pizzas was missing sauce and barely had any toppings. Disappointing, but we decided to give them another shot. Big mistake! This week, our order was again incomplete, one pizza was forgotten when went to pick up. But the final straw? THERE WAS MOULD ON OUR GARLIC BREAD 
Absolutely disgusting. We called, and while they did apologise, they only offered to replace the garlic bread. As if anyone would feel comfortable eating here again after that. The order should have been properly compensated, at the very least. You cannot serve customers mouldy food and think a sorry and a swap makes it okay. Smokin’ Joe’s needs to take food safety and quality control seriously. This level of incompetence is...
