I'm hoping it was just a bad day for them. For starters there's no kid's menu which is a first for me. The coffee was real bad and I can't explain why, as the machine and beans seemed quality. The special 'french toast' was horrific, burnt and basically looked like it was cooked in a pan they had scrambled eggs in. The eggs Benedict my wife had came with a potato rosti that was so hard you couldn't possibly have pushed a fork into. The pancakes my kids shared were sunk at the bottom of a heated raspberry jam puddle which I can only assume was supposed to be their version of a coulis. And, to top it off the fabric covered chairs looked like they hadn't been cleaned since they were picked up from some reception centre's hard rubbish in 1987. For nearly $30 a head it...

Finally a few great brekkie/ coffee experiences popping up in sunny Yarrawonga! โ˜€๏ธ This place has a lovely family business kind of feel. Plenty of delicious homemade goodies on the counter to pick from and lots of menu choices. Great friendly service and care about quality and detail! Good clean food and coffee. Perhaps one of the best corn fritter dishes Iโ€™ve had. Lovely fresh flavours, nice mix of avocado, little cherry tomatoes, tomato salsa, crispy well cooked bacon and fritters๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฅ“ Scrambled eggs yummy too with great sourdough. This will be a regular for us and we will spread the word. Great job ! Us Melbourne food snobs left...

It's a shame as this place has potential.

Coffee was lifeless and lacked body even for a two shot latte. The hot chocolate came with strawberry topping/syrup... what's with that. A busy place like this really needs one barista pulling coffee shots while a second person heats/stretches the milk.

A 25-minute wait for 3 drinks is ridiculous.

And the sight of a male patron (who appeared to be friends with the business), serving lamingtons on plates with HIS FINGERS kinda turned my stomach.

This business needs to focus on hiring the right people for the influx of tourists over the busy...
