The Terminus Yarrawonga — Restaurant in Victoria

Disappointed doesnt say enough. We came in for mothers day and it was also my birthday. Right from the start there had been miscommunication in regards to numbers. I had called the night before to adjust my numbers by 2 due to a surprise visitor for my mum on mothers day. We were two seats short however. Then we had to wait approximately 1.5 hrs for our food. We had all ordered within 2 mins of each other on the QR codes expecting our meals to come out together. This did not happen. Others were well finished before some even got their meals. We had to ask 2 times about our meals. The food... what can I say. My nachos were dry and the cheese was burnt. Both plates of fish n chips were burnt. My brothers burger was very basic for the price charged. We were offered free dessert as compensation. This was never forth coming as staff avoided out table due to the party being unhappy. No one checked on us or queried how our food was. I believe our orders were forgotten as others coming in after us got served first. But this was denied. As a local I am very disappointed and it put a real damper on my birthday...

Went to dinner on a Monday night and happy to see a good venue open! At first we sat in a booth until one of our group went for a walk. The back courtyard seating and dinning is real atmosphere to enjoy. It wasn't crowded due to bad weather but I could easily imagine other nights being great fun. Staff were fun and could communicate like a real human. Hallelujah baby cheeses. Food was good. Very well priced and the serves are huge. I couldn't finish mine and I'm a tall big guy. I wish I didn't order the salt and pepper calamari as it's not a side it's a whole other meal. All the meals were big. Good selection.

I didn't like my salad dressing dumped on top of the salad. Not a pleasant taste or presentation. . Ask for it on the side in case you might like it. But wasn't an issue. That's just my taste and snobby lust for a great presentation. I would have tossed the salad in mixture. Ok I'm nitpicking to find anything...

Terrible service. Booked 2 hours before via their app and when we attended the venue, nobody knew anything. Met someone in the restaurant area who barely spoke a word of English. Then we were redirected to the bar staff who were more interested in conversations with the drunk patrons rather than service.

One finally responds to our question about the reservation, looks at her device, says, oh yeah, go sit at table 201, which had no reservation tag unlike the other tables, was sat at previously of course, and filthy from the previous patrons.

We started cleaning up the table ourselves and looked at the other waiting staff to take our order who looked at us and walked back into the kitchen. We simply left. Disappointing to say the least and certainly not the way to conduct a service based business....
