Went yesterday. When I got to the counter with my daughter, I was greeted by a woman with glasses yelling at me about a red bull on the counter. When I said it wasn't mine, she rolled her eyes and continued going on about it and paused, like she did not want to serve me. I felt like I was making her go out of her way just to serve my daughter and I. I did question at the time and asked if it was OK that I did order, as she appeared quite moody and the eye roll was quite rude and strange when I said I did not know why a red bull was on the counter. Then discovered it was another ladies. Who was near the front of the shop, just away from the counter section, who said she had been waiting 15 minutes for a foccasia. While the woman was toasting the sandwiches I ordered, she was playing with a silver dish that had dirty water in it. She was looking and asking staff what to do with it, who then told her to tip it in the garden outside. This should not have been even played with when she was making sandwiches, or even did not wash her hands while doing all this. Over all, I bought 2 toasted sandwiches, 2 cookies and 2 cold drinks. I have never felt so rudely spoken to as soon as I got to the counter. I don't know if this is normal behaviour from this worker, or if she needs further training (both customer service and food hangling), or if she was having a bad day and just not...
Read moreAs some one who work in hospitality i can understand the stress of a busy sunday morning, however i have worked in a cafe 10 times more busy than the coffee pod was this morning and can still have a good attitude and make a drink up to standard. Myself and my parents went this morning and my mother got an english breakfast tea with milk. upon receiving we were convinced it was just a cup of milk, my mother went up to ask for another tea bag and the lady sternly said there is a price continuously the lady ended up giving my mother the tea bag. My motherâs problem certainly wasnât that she had to pay but more so the ladyâs attitude and if she was calm and nice my mother would have just paid no problem, seeing as it was the ladyâs mistake itâs just easier to own up to it. After sitting down my mother still wasnât able to drink the âteaâ and ended up wasting the money when you pay for something youâd like to receive your moneys worth. The lady continued to make crude remarks about my motherâs with her co workers and sit there giving my mother looks. As someone a lot younger who still will always be respectful towards customers i think this is disgusting but after reading other reviews i am not surprised If you donât have the attitude or patience to deal with customers daily and canât do your job decent i suggest finding...
Read moreAfter standing (happily) in a queue this morning for over 10 minutes, keeping distance I made it to the front of the queue. Whilst waiting to be served, a metre back from the server a man and his child must not have realised that I was waiting. He walked in front of me and was promptly served. The team should know they have a queue and they should be aware of their surroundings and who is waiting to buy their coffee. A small thing given the times we are living in, they could just do a bit better. The coffee I ended up buying in Warragul was lovely, so I don't think...
