The Man Hotel — Restaurant in Victoria

Here for the week, went by the Man for a nice night of live music and some drinks. The venue was cool and the staff were nice enough, however I think open mic night is a terrible idea and should be stopped. The bands that came up acted like they were A-listers and must of thought we were willing to wait 5 minutes in between songs to watch them tune their instruments and go on their phones. I’m pretty sure I listened to 4 songs in total over an hour, I was in shock and awe at how far the heads of these artists were up their arses, not that this is uncommon for artists but this was an especially acute case. These people need to work harder before they are provided a platform to display their musical ability, also their philosophy on performance needs some heavy self review. As well as this there were some obviously desperate young men on the df that were resorting to 14 year old prepubescent boy tactics of pushing people around because they don’t know how to talk to a woman. Clean your act...

I came to the man on a Saturday and Monday night mid season for the downstairs club vibes. Saturday highkey flopped but Monday was fire. The scene was unreal - the music was so good, the crowd was all getting involved and the vibes were just perfect. The music was very house / hard house so if thats youre vibes totally check it out. I think they do get special DJs in every now and then so obviously the vibes will change depending on who they are. Can't speak for what the actual hotel is like, or the vibes any other day of the week upstairs so leaving a conservative 4. If im ever in falls again I will be coming back...

This is a MUST to visit as many times as you can for dinner, whilst at Falls creek ! They open at 5pm (great for families) The staff are so friendly, its a short walk from the Halley comet, amazing friendly service, sensational venue with soccer tables and pool tablets with a DJ on Saturday night !!! Best of all the pizzas a superb ! We tried the meat lovers, margarita and pumpkin. Also indulged with the chicken schnitzel and warm chicken salad (delicious !) the cheese cake and sticky date puddling to die for with lavish serves...
