The Willow Buchan Valley — Restaurant in Victoria

Gorgeously appointed cafe set in picturesque Buchan Valley. We ordered the mushroom on sourdough and smashed avo dishes. Both delicious and a generous, fresh helping of avocado in the smashed avo. Coffee was very good. The cafe is a max 5 min drive from the spectacular Buchan caves. A major highlight is the friendliness and efficiency of the owners. They are so easy to talk to and had my orders ready and waiting for me, knowing I had a bit of a lunchtime rush between cave tours. Fabulous service. What a great asset...

This past weekend they did an Eggs Benedict special, I’ve been waiting to have an Eggs Benny since I moved to Buchan and for 6months I’ve wanted one but didn’t want to go to Bairnsdale. This Eggs Benedict lived up to and exceed expectations!! It was so delicious and a slight difference was their pork shoulder which was AMAZING with the egg and muffin slightly salty and adding beautiful spice. i definitely can NOT wait until they do this special again!!

I’ve also had their pancakes which are also amazingly sweet...

What a gem in such a remote place. From the moment you walk in you feel a lovely atmosphere. The place feels warm, calm and very thoughtfuly designed with a beautiful country view. The food was so delicious and made by passionate people who, you can tell, really care. Being two snobs about our coffee, we were given a detailed explanation of what the coffee this place serve tastes like, so we can make the decision of how we want it, and no doubt, it was to our total satisfaction.
