We have been going to Wing Ho for quite a while now, bringing my friends and always enjoyed the food and the hospitality. Tonight however we were VERY disappointed. We have always had the banquet and always changed up a couple of the dishes We have always paid the extra anywhere from +$8 to +$16 dollar's.Tonight for some reason after once again confering with the chef as to if we can change our meals we were told we have to pay for a full extra meal. I explained how we are always happy to pay extra but not for an extra meal as it would not be eaten. We were told that was the decision and no negotiating at all. I explained how we have always paid the extra but never got another full meal as this meant that there would be a meal that wouldn't be eaten.Still told had to pay for an extra meal. We then decided that we would not have a banquet and that would just order a basic meal each and then I said it would be the last time we would visit We would not come back and was told that's fine ,don't come back then. So much for trying to keep customers happy.I was so disappointed and if it was only my husband and I then we would of got up and left but because we had friends with us we did reluctantly stay Also there was a time that my hubby had a full lipstick mark on his glass which we had just filled with wine, when I brought this to her attention she quickly took the glass, apologized and brought a clean glass back but as it is also BYO didn't bother to refill it.So NOT...

Visited on Chinese NYE so very busy. Had at least 2 new Staff on in training. We were served quickly & accurately especially noting one young man as very efficient with great people skills. He lloked about 16 but said only 14 and really loved his job. A great asset to the business. Food was hot, tasty and fresh so we really enjoyed it. Bill was $50.50 for two people main meals with fried rice. Extensive menu including about 5 different types of fried rice plus a steamed rice. Also had 5 different Chinese teas and 5 normal teas. Coffee, alcohol and soft drinks offered. Free cold water bought to table without asking. Clean toilets. Efficient bill paying no need to tell table number as they knew. The bill was ready and printed before you approached the cash register. They accept efpos, credit cards and most importantly cash is king. Efpos is a minimum of $20. Great place to visit if you are on the Island for The Island Classic,...

Spending the weekend away in Phillip Island and stumbled across this restaurant as we were walking up and down the main street in cowes shopping. Decided to book a table for dinner here for the very 1st time and weren't at all disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing, service was quick and the staff were incredibly welcoming. One of the female waitresses that mentioned she had worked there for 20 years, was extreamly friendly and took the time to have a conversation with us and thank us for the positive feedback that we gave her regarding our positive experience dining in. This Chinese restaurant is by far the best Chinese we have ever had. We live in koo wee rup (approximately 50 mins away) and will definately be travelling here in future for our Chinese. Highly recommend this restaurant and will never eat Chinese...

Delicious food but next time I would have it as takeaway ! This restaurant has quite a large dining space and, the night we dined there, was extremely busy. Everyone was chatting - very loudly. The tables were close together, with hard tops and plain wooden chairs. The floor surface was uncarpetted No curtains or wall coverings to absorb the noise. There was nothing appealing or welcoming about the room itself. Have you ever left a noisy area and "heard" the silence once out on the street ? My stomach loved this restaurant, not so my ears ! While I was not expecting a top class dining room, this was more cafeteria style at it's most basic (old). Revamp needed please.

First Chinese restaurant I've been to where they don't have chopsticks on the table, you need to ask. Once ordered the food came out quickly, shrimp fried rice was nice, garlic prawns were bland, the grave was too watery and certainly not enough garlic, sizzling Mongolian beef was ok, we also ordered honey chicken but that was a let down as the chicken pieces were too small. It wasn't expensive, $2.50 per person for tea Waiters were busy running around and they done a great job
