I came here with my disabled friend, Russ, and his service dog a few days ago. We've been here before, and whilst street parking is an absolute nightmare, we bumped into the LOVELIEST staff member EVER! We were greeted immediately upon looking for a place to sit outside by a young woman who seated us immediately. She was quite alternative with her dress and hair style, but it suited her, and we don't judge people by their outward appearance (we're not fickle or shallow! Russ is judged relentlessly on his disability). We had water brought to us and she offered water for our service dog! Bless her!! She engaged us in intelligent conversation, which can be a bit lacking at these kinds of places that are churning out 100 coffees an hour, which was refreshing!
The food took QUITE a while to come out, but it was tasty, and the young lady looking after outside kept reassuring us that food was coming, which was so professional of her! The coffee was underwhelming in flavour and temperature, though. It was bitter and luke warm (I purchased a long black that I didn't finish), so maybe they rushed the process, but the price was ok, and the outstanding service more than made up for it.
I can't rave enough about the service this young lady rendered! We felt like long-lost friends of the business! She was so friendly and professional, ensuring we were continuously engaged and reassured without being pestered. I hope you pass on this positive feedback to this young staff member. She had unique but tasteful piercings and dark hair, and glasses. We will be back because of her!!
Russ had a ball, even with the sub standard coffee. The service we received made up for...

Ordered the 9 spice brewed chai latte and the waffles with macerated strawberries, chocolate sauce and matcha mascarpone. At first glance, I felt the chocolate sauce a little thin but the flavour was on point and absorbed perfectly into the fluffy waffles so I quickly amended this opinion. The highlight was the matcha mascarpone which married delightfully with the other flavours. I was also impressed with the brewed chai which was well balanced with a hint of honey, without being overly sweet. I ended up ordering a matcha latte for the road and was excited to discover it had been left unsweetened, which is my preference.
I was especially impressed with the service. Everyone was friendly and attentive and the service was prompt without sacrificing quality. The bathroom was clean and included parental facilities. It's a shame I'm just passing through and most likely will not get the opportunity to visit again because this place is...
Read moreWe waited for almost an hour for our food and coffee to arrive, which was very frustrating. Even people who arrived after us and only ordered takeaway coffee got theirs much earlier—I'm not sure why it took so long. The coffee itself was incredibly sour, to the point I couldn't finish it—something that rarely happens.
I ordered the Eggs Benedict, which was decent. The poached eggs were nicely done with a runny yolk, and the avocado was fresh—half an avocado was served, which was generous. The smoked salmon was also quite good. However, the hollandaise sauce was extremely overwhelming and threw off the balance of the dish.
My colleague ordered the big breakfast which included a kangaroo sausage, which looked very dry and honestly unappetizing. On the other hand, the roasted tomatoes were surprisingly juicy and tasty.
Overall, the menu was quite limited and lacked any real standout dishes. While the staff seemed friendly on the surface, the long wait without any explanation or apology made the service feel...
