I’m a bit concerned for the staff at this McDonalds. They always seem rattled and understaffed even when they have lots of staff on deck. Have previously worked at McDonalds (many years ago) I remember what it is like to be part of an under-appreciated team who work like dogs for hours on end, listening to constant beeping sounds and have multiple people treat you like their trash (left on the uncleaned tables here, unfortunately, or in the over flowing bins) because something went wrong with their meals. More often than not one of their self-serve check outs is broken or out of order. Whenever we order something we have it delivered to the tables and the staff always apologise for it taking so long - even when it is quick! Like they’ve been trained to say it because of how nasty previous customers have been! They are always busy when we are there (usually at night), but I have always found the staff to respond to kindness with kindness, to be apologetic when there is a minor issue and to respond to that kindness with replacement food or the food that was missed out on the order (also unfortunately a regular occurrence). I hope that Maccas sees the reviews and either orders further training for management and staff or hire someone over the age of 16 with experience to help them get their ship...
Read moreWent to McDonald's travelling from Toowoomba to Stanthorpe. Horrible attitude from the female manager working the pm shift 25th of June. I had asked if there was a reason for the playground was closed she replied with "have no idea". I then asked if we could get it opened as there was a group of us with children, I got ignored. Standing there for 10 minutes waiting for her to come back (standing at the coffee station). She didn't I went up the the counter as we were going to order and asked the nice young man serving us if we can get the playground opened as it wasn't raining nor did it look like it had. The young man asked the female manager and she said she would be one second and would come help. 15 minutes after this had happened she was talking to the other manager on shift and was still ignoring me. If the playground is unable to be opened please just let the customer know, instead of being rude. We walked out without ordering and will not be going back to a place that is run the way warwick is. Thank you to the young man that helped and the second one that asked if we were okay. To the female manager why? Why did you ignore us and why the disrespectful attitude to not just us as customers but to the employees that work under you!!! I guess fries are more important then having good...
Read moreWaited 5 minutes at the counter for someone to come over and say can we take you to the chaos and Order well if I line up at the counter there's a reason for that I want my order to be taken they're very slow rude the Coke was overflowing the burger I got had pickles on it when I asked for no pickles and it was that greasy the packaging that I had to use about 10 napkins just to wipe the packaging so I can actually have a bite to the burger which after biting into pickles was disgusting I think this shop has lost it's way they seem to have one job and do not know how to differentiate between servers and treating people like total idiots but I guess that's the way McDonald's is gone now I think you're better off going somewhere else where you can get a good meal for cheaper than what you can get at McDonald's because there is no quality they don't care and quite frankly they don't seem to want to change it seems like the norm now let's not make it normal or allow them to see that normal behaviour is like that because it's like this if you have a good product people will come I don't believe they have a good product it was cheap at one stage...
