Sweet Republick Warwick — Restaurant in Warwick

I’ve never written a review before but this experience needs to be heard for all who crave ice cream. After a lovely drive along the Condamine River my family and I stopped into Warwick with the intention of supporting a local ice creamery business. Braving something other than McDonald’s we discovered Sweet Republik, what we thought would be a hidden gem amongst the confines of the Burrito Bar. There were many flavours to choose however before committing to one flavour we asked for some tasters. Boy oh boy were they the biggest tasters man has ever seen/eaten. They were so big that they were BIGGER than the actual ice cream we PAID for! When ordering I was left rather confused when the employee asked me if I would like my one scoop Hokey Pokey cone to take away? Yes I replied. He continued to ask me my name for the order, confused yet again I looked around the eerily quiet restaurant of 0 patrons and proceeded to give him my name. The service slowed entirely when the one employee didn’t bother to make my paid order, instead continued to serve my 2 family members free monstrously large tasters. When receiving my cone, I couldn’t even see the ice cream as it was BELOW the cone level… this had me at a loss for words… The employee may as well have just reached over grabbed my wallet and taken my money for himself. I wasn’t alone when my father in law also received an atom sized scoop of ice cream, I thought he was going to have a heart attack from the shock. This experience has left us all baffled. One star is too many. 70% of my "thickshake" were huge ice cubes, I paid $1.50 extra for gummy bears in ice cream, and got 7 tiny gummy bears.. What kind of scam shop are you running here?...
