Ordered 2 fishermans baskets at 5.45 online for a 6.45 pick up Arrived at 6.45 it wasn't ready that's no stress Asked the counter attendant how long it would be she said it was just t being wrapped

You can see the kitchen from the counter I was watching the meals being prepared 20 minutes later A male customer complained to the staff about the time being taken to prepare his order they were very busy more due to poor management and staff inefficiencies than anything else I watched the kitchen manager remove food from my order to satisfy her complaining customer with his order

Food was ready at 7.15 30 minutes late Fish was over battered as were the sea scallops and mussels to the extent that they were stuck together

Chips were good but because they were used to top up the complaining customers order they were short on quantity

I think they are doing their best but they are sub standard and require further training thats not meant as an insult just a reality of current business

I will be purchasing from bell peppers in eaton from now on

Worst fish and chip experience ever will not be going back ordered 5x pieces of snapper $13 chips, 4x dim sims 2x serves of squid rings 3 cheese sausages 4x scallops and a large gravy shockingly came to $160 thought it better be good everything went down hill from there got in car to which the lid on gravy hadn't been put on so was covered in scolding gravy got down the beach only to receive a call from them so say I had forgotten the chips even though they were the ones that never took them out of bae Marie and gave them to me went and picked them up finally got back down the beach opened up the package labeled fish to which all the batter had stuck to the paper annoying but moved on,daughter but into cheese sausage only to find out they had given us all beef sausages instead of cheese, inside crumb on squid rings was raw and mooshy then bit into fish only to have a large sharp fish bone stick into back of my throat utterly disappointed will never go back there reaction was sorry here's a little bag of lollies discusting and...

This used to be my favourite fish n chip shop but sadly it's gone way down hill since the new owners took over. One night around 630pm we tried ordering online, it wasn't working, tried calling and no answer so assumed they were busy. We drove to the store and arrived around 7pm, they were quiet...one other customer I think. The dine in area was closed off. There were maybe three or four teenage girls working. It looked like they were left to run the show, popping in and out the front door, seemed to be mucking around no wonder they weren't answering the phone beforehand. Ordered our food and while we waited seen customers told "we aren't taking anymore orders sorry". Who knows how much business is lost due to failure to answer the phone or turning customers away well before closing time (we've seen this happen quite a few times). Got our food, opened up in the car, chips were cold, hardly any salt. Batter isn't the same as it used to be, neither is the service. It's disappointing to see a store we once loved go down hill...
