Went here to celebrate with friends and family. They were very nice to be able to accommodate all 6 of us even though I made the booking for dinner on the day, mind you it was also a busy service for them, the restaurant was packed and buzzing! We were greeted and served with a smile up to the end. My only regret was that wish I had cash on me so I could have given them a tip! And I rarely give tips. Food was good, not much selection for my taste in my opinion, BUT quality over quantity! It was a treat to taste something different that is well prepared/cooked and presented We left full and satisfied 8/10. Wait time was just right, again considering the restaurant was packed, they did a great job. We ordered 2 serves each of their flatbread, fish tacos, beef sirloin, crispy pork, crispy potatoes, ?grilled eggplant? And 1 of the banoffee bomb alaska i think it's called for dessert. We ordered to share and it was plenty for 6 people. The drinks were delightful too. 5/5. When it comes to dietary requirements i am pretty sure you can let them know when you book, there are a few vegetarian dish, but limited from what I can remember. The atmosphere was perfect for gatherings, we were sitted on the balcony overlooking the beach and oh how beautiful the view was when sunset came 😍 it was a bit chilly and windy, but they provided blankets! Which was a nice touch, it shows how much they care about their customers' experience. Very well looked after. Again my only regret was not having cash on me to give a tip. Next time I visit I definitely will carry cash. The prices for the food is justified by the quality in my opnion, and the protioning is just right it's not big, but its not too small either, again we shared 2 sirloins between 6 people and it was plenty. We were also nibbling before our mains so we were getting full at that point. Parking is great, no complaints. Overall, for the price we paid which was a bit on the high side, we are contented and satisfied. Worth the visit and spend! 👌 I recommend this restaurant 100% Thank you for the great food and service!

Great location, excellent food and great staff. We came here for a birthday celebration, the location is excellent, good views out to the sea from the inside as well as the 2 balconies, we sat inside, you can still see fine and have the benefit of aircon on what was a fairly hot evening. Staff were attentive, welcoming and chatty, but not intrusive, a good combination. A couple were fairly new I'm guessing but still well trained. Special mention for the lovely Canadian lady that served us, sorry can't remember her name, a definate assett to the restaurant. We had the Crudo king fish, pumpkin, miso eggplant, ribeye, pork hock, crispy blue potatoes and finished with a baked alaska. Everything was excellent, with special mention to the king fish (the fish itself and the melon with it were fantastic) and the ribeye (literally the best steak I have ever had, and I have had a few, cooked to perfection, sauces just added depth and complexity, AMAZING) Had a few coctails, all excellent, the limoncello one probably the highlight. Bombe Alaska was excellent too, just make sure you have at least two people to eat it! I think it was a good choice for us not to have the 'feed-me' menu, we got to choose and share many things until we were all full, the food bill was $200 for 4 which would have been $300 on the feed-me, so better value for what we wanted.

Good food but strangely terrible Friday night service. I'd gone to Bib & Tucker for eight years for their amazing breakfasts, and finally tried it out for dinner. After multiple efforts to flag down a waitress, we ordered the chef's menu ($75 pp) and two glasses of red. The first three plates of food came, but no wine. By no means are we desperate alcoholics, but we had to wave down and ask wait staff FIVE times when our wine would be coming. The fourth girl looked at our now-empty plates and said, "Oh.... do you still want the wine or should I just cancel it?" We said no, we would still like the wine - we had more food coming! We still had to ask again. I think they were stamping on the grapes in the kitchen. Eventually the wine came; I believe its ageing process made it taste even better. Food was delicious, maybe a couple of dishes too salty but ok. My friend was brave enough to order a second glass of wine. PLOT TWIST. The wine never came. The restaurant was almost empty (we were still waiting for the chef's menu dessert) by the time we told the waitress she might as well cancel that second wine. "Oh, I think that's the bell for your wine now," she said (but alas, it was not, I know, I was shocked as well). Our dessert arrived (the Snickers mousse) and it was divine. A bit baffled that the Friday night service was so lacking, other than that; I think the chef's menu was good value at $75, and happy atmosphere.

Was a great day for brunch and a walk by the sea. We eaten here a few times over the years, from when it opened and recall having good experiences. We arrived just after breakfast service so we had a 30min wait for lunch, which was fine. We originally were sat outside on the balcony, but requested moving inside as the kids were cooled, staff were accommodating, which was appreciated. I’ve always liked the decor and feel of the restaurant, suits the location nicely. Both my wife and I agreed the mains weren’t particularly exciting, with the starters proving more appealing. I’ll start by saying all the dishes were beautifully presented! 👍🏾 I ordered the the charcoal roasted barramundi which was nice though I found it plain in taste, for me it needed a bit of zing from some lime to balance the dish. My wife had the beetroot cured kingfish and wood fired pumpkin, she enjoyed the kingfish but her (and I) the star dish was the pumpkin! Great combo with the yoghurt and harissa. Eldest had the burger which she enjoyed, she liked the flavor of the patty. Neither of the kids were a fan of the chips as they said they were a bit dry. Youngest had the ham and cheese pizza, we all had a piece and all agreed it was very good. We still enjoyed our time and enjoyed the kids entertainment pack provided, kept us all occupied with checkers, tic-tac-toe etc. 👏🏾 Hoping the mains menu may change in the summer, but we will be back.

Went here late on Wednesday afternoon for a warm drink and sneaky dessert. Firstly, it's a really lovely space. It's built on top of the surf lifesaving club so overlooks the ocean, there's window seats and an outdoor balcony area. There's a sophisticated warmth to the restaurant. I ordered a matcha latte and their snickers miso dessert. The latte came out first. It was not any good. The matcha powder (pure matcha, not the sweetened mixture) wasn't properly dissolved, and there were lots of lumps of powder in the bottom of the glass. I did tell a waitperson, and they were really very good to rectify the situation. They made me a new latte, much better than the first, and comp'ed me the drink in the end. The dessert was delicious. A very thin layer of vanilla sponge with a soft set thick creamy milk chocolate layer, peanut butter mousse and decorated with a generous amount of peanuts, caramel miso drip, some cocoa nibs, and chocolate wafer. The flavours went very well together. It looks like a small serve when it comes out, bit it's the perfect amount. So while the latte was pretty bad, they were really very good about addressing my concerns and fixing the problem. Also want to add that my wallet fell out of my bag into the car and they were super nice about me running to the car to grab it so I could pay.

Got here for a Sunday lunch. Didn't have a reservation but we got seated at one of the table outside directly on the beach, and indeed, the view is amazing on a sunny warm day. Food was very nice. Had the roasted chicken and the roasted kangaroo. Portions are way to small though. And the waiter advised us not to take a side cause the chicken was "quite big". it wasn't. probably would have needed 3 sides to fill me up, we left hungry. Even though we had that ridiculous 17$ fish tacos as a starter. Hear by fish tacos : very small piece of battered fish, a spoon of what seemed to be pre-made guacamole and a pinch of tomato red onion salsa !!?!. Tortillas was ok. But the size are a joke, for that price, I felt ripped off. beer bottles are 10-12$ .. so good view, food overall good, portion sizes and prices are not matching. 120$ lunch for two where you leave hungry is not a good thing. (4*10-12$ for drinks + 2*34$ for main dishes + 17$ fish tacos, out of memory)
