UPDATE: 12/2022 Hit & miss with food and services. Sometimes delicious food e.g. juicy tender ribs with fresh salads other times very dry and hard and salad no so fresh. Steak was quite tough though. Customer services mostly disappointing but occasionally with lovely staff. Recent experience with the lady (manager?) at the bar who looked so grumpy, inpatient and annoyed. However, a floor waitress (Asian girl) was so lovely and friendly and even smiled as she walked past the table. Used to love this place and have given a 5 star review in the past. Unfortunately I’ve had to update my review and it’s now worth 1-star only from the most recent experience (2-star only because food is ok). To start off, daily/chef specials can now only be ordered via the me&u QR code where if you (& a lot of elders) are not tech savvy or do not have a credit card, you won’t be able to enjoy the daily specials if you order through a waitstaff. Unfortunately this also means anything ordered via me&u cannot be used in conjunction with the Entertainment Book offer. In addition to all of this, you also get charged service fee for ordering online. Shouldn’t it be less cost as it’s reducing staff labour time? Secondly, the wait time is absolutely ridiculous. It took more than 30mins just to get our drink (one beer)… surely it doesn’t take that long to pour beer out of the tap?? Next, our food took more than 50mins from the time we placed the order via the silly me&u to arrive at the table. Then we discovered that the staff has given us the wrong meal information when we specifically asked about it in the beginning. Luckily the other waitstaff and manager came to address it but it was too late as we already ordered drinks separately. After contacted by the restaurant manager and a follow up on the issue, we went in for dinner again tonight. Under the new management and new kitchen team, the quality of the food has really improved so much that we enjoyed the food so much. The food was well prepared and presentable (refer to photos), and the quality has improved so much even it was a very busy night today. A very big applause to Sam and her new kitchen team that they are willing to take on the reviews and provide a much better dining experience. Her table service team is also complimented as they would come to check on the customers of their needs from times to times. All the best for Sam and her new teams!

It was a big disappointment on the food. We ordered a medium well done steak and came out with fully welldone and burnt steak. So we brought this up to the staff, who later said on the order, it was stated welldone. So I told her that we definitely ordered medium well done and the lady was kind enough to raise this to the kitchen and got us another portion. To our disappointment (or shock) the new portion was fully well done again and worse as we can see all the black stuff and dirty oil came with the burnt steak (photos removed based on revised review). We have been a number of times and the food was always lovely but this time, it was really a great disappointment on the fools quality and put some doubts on the hygiene of the kitchen. Read morewe walked in and noticed no meet and greet at the door. we had to find someone to check our reservation, getting mix up with people waiting to order and looking for seats. when placing order at the bar we ordered 2 of the pie specials at $20 plus 2 of the wines for $5 as part of the special, and further meal of fish and chips and 2 middy's of soft drink. while processing the order the lady told us I can't put your pie order as the flavor you order but will have to put it it through as lamb but you will get the pepper and cheese pie as ordered (after going out and checking with the kitchen). Then when she charged me for the order I explained to her that she had overcharged me. After eventually getting the manager out who still couldn't really figure out the problem I got my overcharged refunded. (which we later figured out they had put the cool drinks down as the $5 special package and charged us full price for the wine). So the meals came out and yep got a lamb pie (not as ordered) and the fish was dry and chewy, sat at the table for awhile after and couldn't get anyone's attention. Left very dissatisfied.
