Well appearances are deceiving. At first glance everything looked a little 'average'. I glanced into the small smouldering kitchen and felt for the chef, as it was suddenly getting busy. My elderly friend referred to the appearance of the Cafe as 'hippy', however my instinct encouraged me to keep my opinion to myself. The cakes display looked incredible, the attitude of the young cashier was outstanding (I adore youthful exuberance) & once seated, ignored the unkept table. While waiting I saw some amazing dishes piled high being carried to the rear of the cafe tables underneath the large trees. The lady informed me they were catering for a yoga retreat. I spied many bikers walking by, couples & plenty of kids. The informal backyard a welcoming respite from fastidious cafes. The food arrived & it was truly awesome. Vegetarian buger on sweet potato, with cheese, rocket & much more. The nachos were equally as tasty & satisfying. My fussy friend was even impressed, which is no mean feat! All up great service, a pleasant & relaxing environment. Couldn't...
Read moreWent for breakfast, ordered the veggie burger, pancake stack, big breakfast, cornbeef sandwich and father's day special salad.
The service was absolutely amazing, lovely person at front counter, short blonde hair, greeted us with a warm smile and happy exterior. Lovely wait staff as well, all very respectful and bubbly.
The food was amazing, my vegan sister Emily doesn't usually enjoy the foods she's able to eat but she was able to eat alot of what the others ordered and loved her father's day salad. We all agree the father's day salad should be a regular on the menu, please keep it on.
I love the rosemary in the top of the burger idea, the burger was amazing, super filling. Definitely recommend to anyone vegetarian and looking for a good meal.
The pancakes were lovely and filling despite how small it may look, my only change would be to add less lemon curd as it did come across quite tart but regardless it was a lovely meal.
Cafe mojo has amazing, funny, talented staff and has reignited my passion for cooking and all things hospitality.

Read moreI generally love coming here. The atmosphere is generally amazing and the food is incredible and the workers are on the whole really lovely however on a negative note, I was both dismayed and disappointed that after paying an exorbitant amount for a tiny pot of chai, the lovely waitress obviously had been told to inform me to “please in future pay for the honey as it is expensive”. It really felt insulting as I already I paid so much as I always do here…and the chai today was not very palatable…This really left a bit of a sour taste today unfortunately and honestly I make much better chais at home! I came here today as I was feeling down and wanted a pick me up. Well it wasn’t much of that today sadly and not the first time I’ve walked away feeling underwhelmed…I will still come here of course because the food and atmosphere is generally lovely, but perhaps I will remember to byo my own chai and honey in future! So all in all 3...
