Frankly speaking, the view on the location you can't beat....But well, the quality of coffee and flow of service ruined the eater's experience. I came down was curious the post in Barista forums said here wanna hire a barista which could handle 160kg of coffee beans in a week. The results was that as an experienced barista ,I don't think you guys could reach this volume and sorry to say,the coffee was tasteless....Forth level was alright but can't taste any coffee and only milky . As for service....The flow for split up the docket existed problem.Coffee came after 10mins on Sunday's morning was fine, but cold drinks we have been waited the last mins of the last bite of brekky. That's insane . Approached to some staff of missing order, their attitude just seemed like don't care. And definitely tables no kept messed up with other table.I understood how they were busy .But basic customer service skill should have ,if Someone already told you be waiting long for drinks, doesn't matter how many tasks you are doing at that moment.Solve the missing one and even make it straight to problem table, done. Then you could back to Carry on the orderly docket behind. Only at the end had a boy with good talking skill with apology provided refund . Finally, finishing brekky with thirsty and got drinks at the end. Management ....Do something, your operational flow for floor was failed, table no. Mess up,some of staff not sharp enough for handling missing order, and important thing, high volume of low quality coffees.

Clancy’s Fish Bar in City Beach is a true gem by the shore, offering an unbeatable combo of fantastic seafood, a relaxed vibe, and stunning ocean views. This spot is perfect whether you’re grabbing a casual meal or looking for a place to unwind with friends and family. The seafood here is fresh and flavorful—try the fish tacos or the classic fish and chips for a taste of what they do best. They also have an impressive selection of craft beers and wines, which pair nicely with the menu options. Plus, there's always a rotating selection of specials to keep things interesting. One of the best parts of Clancy’s is the atmosphere. With its open-air seating and close proximity to the beach, you can feel the ocean breeze while you dine. The casual, family-friendly ambiance makes it a go-to spot for a laid-back afternoon or evening. And if you have kids, there’s a great little play area nearby, so it’s easy to keep everyone entertained. The only downside can be the wait time, especially on weekends or sunny days when everyone wants to enjoy the view. However, the staff are generally friendly and do their best to keep things moving smoothly. Overall, Clancy’s Fish Bar is a must-visit if you’re in Perth and craving a coastal dining experience. From the food to the view, it’s easy to see why this spot is so popular with both locals and visitors alike.

I had a lovely farewell lunch there with some girl friends, what a great spot it is. Right by the ocean, beautiful city beach can have crashy waves, but that day was perfect for swimming. I love this place, when I am back I will go again. There is plenty of parking and the foreshore was full of families and singles enjoying the best of Perth summer. The food was great, they cater for everyone. Prices were very reasonable and serving of food were generous. Service was excellent too, but best of all was the atmosphere; people come here to enjoy themselves. I cannot speak highly enough of the place. Locals and tourists from all walks of life are welcomed here, and nothing is too much trouble. Staff were happy to oblige with every request. There was no pressure to leave, the place was packed. This is an instance of excellent management, they do not take advantage of the spectacular location by serving shoddy food with horrible service like some other beachside eateries such as 'Coast' on Port Beach. Clancy's at City Beach is a star-player.

Today, Good Friday 2025 between 4-6pm, I went for drinks here with my friend. At around 5:30, on of the wait staff verbally abused me for not ordering something to eat and each time he came past my table, he gave me a very disrespectful glare. Then within 15 minutes his manager approached our table and virtually told us to vacate the premises, even though less than one third the restaurant was occupied, buy guests. Over 50% of the patrons did not Order food, but there was twice the number of wait staff that was realistically required for the number of patrons that were there. The new manager verbally abused us, placing Herself in a position above most of her guests and asserted an aggressive manner. It seems that being a couple of seniors, we were targeted by the younger 20s aged wait staff and his manager and kitchen chef. We left feeling very disillusioned by the management staff especially since we were going to order food tonight, but were told to leave before that could happen. What a disgusting turn of events for an Easter Friday. It seems that the restaurant put on twice as many staff who were needed for today, but made many patrons feel uncomfortable about even being there today. We won’t be coming back, EVER!! This restaurant has definitely gone to the Dogs and this afternoon’s display by the staff proved it positively. By the way, we were seated at table 12 close overlooking the ocean. A couple in of seniors, just out for an afternoon drink. How despicable were your...

We made plans especially for today for my son and I to spend time and for me to take him out to a beach side restaurant as a treat. When we arrived we were shown to a table just across from the window side of the restaurant by a girl with blond curly hair and glasses. It was about 2:30 pm and the restaurant was not busy at all. There was a table by the window available and my son was very excited to be seated there to look out at the water so I requested if we could please move.

From the moment I said excuse me, she did a heavy sigh and rolled her eyes and looked annoyed. When I asked to be moved she said no I haven't cleared that table yet, although it was just water glasses on there and we would've been happy to wait. she then walked off before I had a chance to say anything else.

1 minute after we sat down, she brought over a couple and sat them at the table we just asked for and wiped it down. My son was really upset and asked why we weren't allowed to sit there when we asked and why she was rude to us.

The table we were given had water spilled underneath it and some prawn shells as well so I asked her if it was possible to have it cleaned up a bit. She then stormed back with a cloth and said "is this all you wanted?"

Unfortunately her entire attitude and rudeness really ruined our day and what should been a nice day out for me to treat my son as we haven't had much time together lately.

I wrote them an email about the service and 1 week...
