The manager told me, that they don’t care about my cold unsafe chicken, my 1:20 minute wait for my food, about my future business and that I would not being getting a refund. I have never been more disgusted with the way I was treated. I made an order online directly via their website. Uber eats doesn’t list any soft drinks. The food should have been delivered within an hour. It took an hour and 20 minutes! I called multiple times and was told my food was out for delivery. When the delivery arrived the cold drink was placed on top of the food and it had taken around 25-30 minutes to make a 7 minute drive to me. I understand there are other customers but if you can’t deliver the food at a safe temperature then you shouldn’t be in business. I called to complain about the food temp and my experience overall. I explained the service as “stinking” the manager lost her rag with me. She shouted over me in the phone, as if I had threatened her, she told me she can’t organise the refund as they don’t own the website directly. She then told me to leave a negative review, she doesn’t care, they don’t need my business and have lots of satisfied customers. How disgraceful, absolutely abysmal way to speak to any customer. I microwaved my cold meal, it was disgusting. Chewy chicken, watery korma sauce without any flavour. The naan bread was charcoal black on the underside and was also chewy and soggy. Incredible family owned business, truly a hidden gem. The food is remarkable and incredibly authentic (grew up with an Indian grandmother so you bet I know a good curry lmao). The owners are incredibly amicable and polite. The goat curry, mango chicken, korma and Punjabi delight are our go to dishes for a Friday night feast. The sauce is incredibly silky, complex and over all wonderfully tasty. The home made desserts (especially the burfi) are so nice that I'm making a habit of ordering in bulk. Every single dish, side dish and dessert I've had from this place has never been anything less than 5 stars, I mean hell, even the free rice impressed me. I among 10 other people dine here at Curry Lovers in Ellenbrook. And every time we eat here I always express how deeply humbled I am having eaten the food and how I believe Curry Lovers make "THE BEST" Indian cuisine I have ever eaten. I travel from Maddington to Ellenbrook just to eat at this restaurant. It is a blessing seeing the Mother & Son's smiles every time we walk through the door. They are both very inviting, accommodating, lovely people. The menu is vast and abundant with plenty to choose from, even with vegetarian options.
