Woodlake Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Western Australia

Service was really bad Instead of serving costumer staff are talking to each other when we needed service . We have to keep walk to front to ask for things eg. water and then plates that they were supposed to provided before the meal came. The foods was very disappointing and not at all like it used to be. We ordered duck it was literally just coated with flour and hardly any meat in it, black paper beef was just full of onions instead of beef itself. The sizzling tofu was great and pork was much smaller than it used to be. We were asking for a side chili oil and they charge $3 each for it! Feels likes being robbed in a Chinese restaurant, most places we have been to they serve chili complimentary but here? which is we don't mind to pay it if worth it… but $3 for each tiny side really???? 4.Owner or Managers Seems unapologetic as we try to explain and giving them feedback about it. We asked him what will you do to solve this problem in future his answer was “ There’s nothing that we can do, Good night” there’s wasn't even an apology about the food that we commented about. 5.In short this wasn’t the woodlake we use to know, i guess there was a change of management perhaps and even though some dishes wasn’t too bad. Went here today, horrible food. I've just moved in around the area and me and my family decided to try out some chinese. I have never been so disgusted in a restaurant. The food was horrific, tasted nothing like the chinese food I had before and ontop of that, the environment was unbearable.

The staff was all sad faced, poorly trained and constantly being yelled at by the manager or boss. Overheard some of their conversations and could not believe the racist comments the manager was making on their staff, absolutely horrifying. I would give zero stars if I could.

Phoned my takeaway order through, said I would be there in 3/4 of an hour, I got there 5 minutes early my food was ready $57 very friendly staff, I got home added up off the menu and came to $54. for my 4 dishes I ordered. Supposedly got free prawn crackers but obviously I paid $3 for them. One dish I ordered was Chinese vegetables with oyster sauce opened the container and they used frozen vegetables that you can buy at any grocery store and added oyster sauce to them, vegetable we're all soft and soggy.
