Yesterday, I placed my order at this store at 5:15 PM. Due to an emergency, my husband went to pick up the order at 9 PM, but they sent him home, saying there had been no order made under my name. Later, I went to the store and showed them the receipt. The staff responded that my order had already been picked up. I asked him who picked up my order since we had just come to collect it. His response was, “We don’t know. Why did you just come to pick it up?” I explained that something happened, so I couldn’t come earlier. He then said my order had been placed through UberEats, and I should speak to them. When I said that meant I could claim my money back from them, his response was, “I am not sure because you came late. As the food was getting cold, we might have thrown the order in the bin.” I asked, “Why did you throw my order away? I would have been happy to pick up a cold order.” He replied that I didn’t call them. In response, I told him that if something urgent happened, how could I inform them that we were going to be late to pick up the order? However, he kept arguing with me using nonsensical statements and showed me the receipt they had in the store, which clearly stated “no show.” This means he was just making up stories about our order. He was very rude and showed no remorse for the fact that someone had paid for the order he claimed to have thrown away. I have been disappointed with this store several times due to the food quality, but since this is my closest pizza place, I have continued to order from them. Read moreI always order home delivery, mostly they deliver within a reasonable time, however there are times likely today. I get notified at 5.14pm my driver is on the way but doesn't arrive until 5.32,my house is 3 minutes from the store. The cutting of the pizzas is like an after thought, my drink arrived warm . Dominoes are reporting a decline in revenue. Hint: review instore practice and delivery.
Update 17/05/25 Placed an order for delivery 5 pm Friday. Received a message 4.54 pm pizza is on its way,I'm 4 minutes from the store driver arrived at 5.17 pm , pizzas not in a heat bag, Luke warm, drink was also warm. Sent order back, requested refund told it would take 3 days, I disputed that claim store manager told me if I'm not happy, I have avenues to complain, media head office Etc, I did receive my refund the same day as I requested. My complaint about thus store is not an isolated one, delivery of food not in a heat bag happens more often than not, drinks are always warm, complaining always gets the same generic computer generated reply, but nothing changes. Read morePlace is a joke, communication barrier with staff was awful then when I asked to speak to someone as there was clearly an issue I was told there was no one else in the store, the manager was on break and consistently spoke over the top of me and my partner. I then asked to speak to the manager and he flatly refused and told me the only way I would get my order is if I picked it up as they couldn't confirm.
