Pre-ordered our meal 2 hours in advance. Rock up to Dominoās Kwinana at 22:25 for our 22:30 order, and nobody knew what we were talking about, but eventually told us that itād be a 5-minute wait.
15 minutes later, weāre told that theyād run out of one of the items, and asked if weād like it refunded. Not like we really had a choice there, did we? 2 hoursā notice, yet the Indian bloke in charge couldnāt be bothered giving us a ring to let us know. Waited another 5 or so minutes. Paid for our order anyway, minus an item.
15 minutes after our order shouldāve been ready, so 22:45, we got back to the car, tried the infamous Dominoās thickshake, and found that it was just milk in a cup. Turned back around, as, honestly, we had placed the order to try their new range, and these aforementioned issues, alongside the fact that none of the employees could even so much as give a friendly smile & greet us (looked at us and waited for us to speak before just walking off), really soured that whole magical Dominoās experience.
My partner went inside to ask for a refund. He explained that the thickshake was a cup of milk (lukewarm, too!), that the order was 15 minutes late, and that theyād sold out of an item, and couldnāt be bothered letting us know.
Guy āin chargeā argued with him, telling him that the order was actually for 22:40 (like, at least get good at lying; your order times are in 15-minute increments), that itās not their fault that theyād run out of an item, and also told him that the card machine didnāt work, so he couldnāt offer a refund! Crazy that weād just paid using that exact machine moments earlier. He was aggressive, and refused to admit any fault. Like, come on, man, weāre even paying a late night surcharge. Get your act together!
Itās sad, as this Dominoās used to be pretty decent. One of the better ones out there. Not sure where that Kiwi guy went, but he was great, and also had great customer service. Actually, more than just sad. Itās yet another store thatās been taken over by people who just donāt care at all.
Anyway, 3/5 the hot items were tepid at best, 1 item was cancelled, and 1 was the complete opposite of what it was supposed to have been! Oh, and theyād sold out of that unavailable item after weād placed our order, yet hadnāt bothered to set one...

I called to let them know & ask for a refund, first call i didnt receive a single apology just asked to send photos through as evidence & they'd call me back. Did that straight away, never received a call back so had to call again. They opened the photos while i was on the phone and heard the girls giggling in the background about it. Got put on hold then the manager came back about 5 minutes later telling me he was trying to figure out where it came from, told him clearly one of his staff had eyelash extensions, he responded yeah. So how was that hard to figure out? Then told me he can't refund my whole order because i only had an issue with the pizza. I told him he could refund the whole older (garlic bread & drink too), small order only $35, not asking much! Considering it made me feel so sick i didnt want to eat the rest of the food. Argued with the manager on the phone and as he was insisting he couldnt refund the garlic bread & drink too, told him he definitely could refund it all. Got put on hold again & 5 minutes later he comes back to say he will refund it all, still no apology from any of the staff and the attitude to a H&S issue was ridiculous, can't believe i had to argue for a refund after...
