Friendship — Restaurant in Western Australia

Thought we would try this place as the other Chinese restaurant we usually go to was sadly closed on the day of our visit. I should have read the reviews prior to going. We ordered two dishes and asked for an extra plate as we were going to share. “We don’t give you extra plate” was the response to this request, as the boss lady walked off. We had planned to order some takeaway dishes to bring home with us for later, however wasn’t given the chance to ask. Mind you, we were two people among no more than 6-8 others in the so called restaurant. The food arrived and it was among the worst Chinese food we have ever eaten. Sweet and sour pork, chicken chow mein , both with fried rice. The rice was bright orange, over-cooked and tasteless. I’m sure readers have trimmed fat and gristle off pork chops before - well that’s what the sweet and sour pork was like. Almost inedible and akin to rubber. As a Chinese, I would say this is one of the worst Chinese restaurants in Australia I’ve ever visited, in terms of the food:

Overall overpriced food with small portion compared to other Chinese restaurants nearby, I ordered a large size of Singapore Noodles, and it ended up coming a medium-normal sized portion, with $20.9, cannot imagine how the small size $16.9 is like

Food is salty and non-authentic, the Singapore Noddles is fried with Hokkien Noodle (rather than thin rice noodles, e.g. vermicelli), sauce is not curry, instead they use Black Pepper and Beans Sauce, no pork, no scrambled eggs, just some prawns and green capsicum. It should be called black pepper bean sauce noddle.

We went there for tea about 8:15pm, when my friend asked what vegies were in a meal the waitress rolled her eyes & couldn’t be bothered serving or being polite. Around 8:30 pm the two servers were staring right at us talking loudly & being very rude saying they were calling security & having us removed because they wanted to go home. One of the servers decided to yell out security 3 times! Very immature & she was quite embarrassed when I confronted her about her behaviour. They also don’t wash the table cloth’s or the napkins, nothing is removed from the tables from everything we witnessed, they flick the food in a container & wipe down the tablecloth with water, my daughter removed her napkin from a glass which was dirty & the napkin had a stained dark cup ring on it!
