Grill'd Burgers - Kingsway — Restaurant in Western Australia

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Grill'd Kingsway. I placed an order for delivery on September 27, 2023, and it turned out to be a complete failure.

After waiting for over an hour, I called the restaurant to inquire about my order. To my surprise, I was informed that there were no available drivers for delivery. I was never notified about this issue, which left me and my kids waiting and hungry.

The lack of organization and communication from Grill'd Kingsway is unacceptable. It is the restaurant's responsibility to fulfill their commitments and keep customers informed about any issues that may arise. Unfortunately, they failed on both counts.

When I went to the restaurant to pick up my order instead, I had to request a refund for the delivery fee that I had paid. It was even more frustrating when the manager, Courtney, didn't know the amount of the delivery fee and asked me to find it on my phone. This lack of knowledge and professionalism is disappointing.

Overall, my experience with Grill'd Kingsway was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I expect better service and communication from a restaurant. I cannot recommend Grill'd Kingsway based on my experience, and I hope they take steps to improve their organization, communication, and customer service...

Located outside and front of The Kingsway Shopping Centre, Grill’d is a convenient place to have a family dinner, or even a mid-size group event. The parking out the front is free and ample so you’ll never fight for space even on the busier nights such as Friday and Saturday nights. The outdoor area is well lit with good vibes and has picnic tables for larger groups and overall would say can sit around 60/70 people which is the same for inside the restaurant, where tables of 4/6 ppl are spread out evenly and can accommodate wheelchairs, although would be tougher in a busy night. Prams is a challenge. The other little note was tables allowed just enough room were you could here the ambiance of conversations but not be intruded by them and hear your own conversations.

We tested out the venue on a busy Saturday night and Food was excellent and service time was about 10 minutes for an order of: kids meal, Simply Grill’d Burger, Wild West Burger and Chicken Pom Salad. All food came out together and salad was fresh, Chicken was hot 👍🏻

Staff were attentive asking how the meal was and if there is anything they could do well trained and well prepared.

Had a mess around with the order with menulog so I rang the restaurant, and they remade the order, and one of the workers delivered the food within half an hour.

I was only expecting to have my money back, so it was surprising and honestly made my day. They didn't know my circumstances but wanted to correct the mistake. I'm caring for my Grandma, and we were meant to go out for lunch, but she was too frail yesterday, so the above and beyond customer service from everyone at Grill'd Kingsway was just incredible.

It's only burgers, but it made such a difference to have a different lunch for my Grandma and experience an amazing burger without the stress of having to go out to eat.

Plus the fact that they take allergies seriously means that I also get to eat there! This is the 2nd time I've had Grill'd Kingsway, and both times now, I've had no issues.
