Customer service was lacking this evening the restaurant was just us , so there was no excuse with being busy, food was mediocre, we were returning customers , however after tonight’s experience we won’t be back , we had some food left and thought we would take home with us, not once did they come over and ask if we would like any else , was the food ok , would we like another drink etc nothing…… fast forward to paying we had some food left over we thought we would take away asked for a takeaway container was told that would be .50 cents extra 😕. Not sorry actually you’ve done us a favor to branch out and try other restaurants, definitely will not recommend to family and friends .

We had dinner here. It'll be good to park at Mandurah Forum or the library and walk over as they have limited car park bays. The price was okay for the food but we've had better elsewhere. The egg omelette is okay, honey chicken is a tad too fluffy and the sweet and sour pork had too much flour as compared to meat. The satay sauce for the satay vegetables was a bit too starchy for our tastes as well. Decent Chinese restaurant in the area though.

Pretty disappointing experience at Happy Chinese Restaurant.

Booked for 6.30pm, they took over half an hour to take our order - to which we had to request it - and then another hour to actually start bringing in the food (total of 90mins from arrival to food). Restaurant wasn't even half full and there was 3 staff on the front floor. When we finished our dinner (which was very tasty) and mentioned a dessert order we were told the kitchen closed at 8pm (literally states 8.15pm kitchen closure) and we should've come earlier if we wanted dessert. Frankly, since they took over 90mins to actually get us our food, they should've offered dessert due to the whole situation but clearly the aim is not to try and get the customers to return.

So in summary, great food, service takes a ridiculously long time and don't arrive after 6pm because it's an...

In the past have had happy memories of dining in at Happy Chinese. Tonight for our 36th wedding anniversary ordered Menu Log as a treat to deliver. Rang restaurant and Menu Log no resolution no food after 3 hours . Restaurant just wanted to blame Menu Log and said food had been ready 1 hour not their fault. Told me to complain to Menu Log. Reminded them of previous nice experiences with their restaurant and we were hungry and our dinner ruined could they compensate us somehow. Absolutely not ! I am sure that the response would have Been completely at Wood and Stone or Silk Thai Disgusting...
